Of all the back braces I have tried through the years Aspen Back Brace have worked the best for me. It was what was used on me during my physical therapy sessions.     • I find it effective, just hard to find something to wear over it....
It does say it can adjust your back, to me, it does. So very effective. As for wearing it, I can't find any pants, jeans, or shorts to wear over it. As for the comfort, it isn't. I got to wear a folded up towel underneath it, to make it more comfortable. However, after several hours my back pain goes away, and most of the time, my back is adjusted again. ... show more

I bought my first Aspen quickndraw about 5 years ago from a chiropractor after herniating a few disc (so this is my second). I wear it every day. It enables me to work all day (if I don’t wear it - by the end of the day my back and legs hurt terribly). Very well made and very comfortable. I ordered this product to help relieve some lower back pain. I knew I was going to go to a Chiropractor but wanted relief as soon as possible. I love this brace. I am a pro photographer so I carry a lot of equipment and on my feet a great deal. This product does everything as advertised. It's easy to put on and very flexible to fit perfectly. The construction of this brace is good but its so uncomfortable. I think this is best used by a man. I'm only 5'4" so not a long torso, that is why men with a straight torso, this is ideal. I find it so uncomfortable I take it off only after a few minutes. The tie is a good idea and those who can wear this it would work well I guess. ... show more

I have several chronic conditions with me spine. When the vertebrae go out of alignment, it can really do crazy things to your over compensating muscles. The brace I had was so uncomfortable, well, it just hurt. So I had to go on a search for something new. As I said, I have several conditions and wanted to find something that would cover a few of them. Using Amazon, you have a choice of what, a 1000 or more? But this one by Aspen has been a life saver for me. I actually got it too large, but it still works. Just needs to be pulled tight enough and then the pull rings do the rest. My old brace simply wore me out. It was exhausting to wear it. This one does not. After finding the Aspen, I went to their website to learn more about it. Seemed to cover some of my conditions, especially the one I was dealing with at the present time. All I can say is that I HIGHLY recommend this product. Especially if your condition is chronic. I've been suffering over 20 years. There is no miracle or Band-Aid surgery that will fix me. I just know this brace has definitely improved my quality of life. ... show more

I have been using this brace for over 5 months now, for at least two hours a day. I wear it during my caregiver duties, rolling and pulling the patient in bed. This belt protects my lower back and lower abdomen from injury during these tasks. Previously I was using a much narrower belt from another company, and the Velcro closure would pop open by just bending over. The strings would also bind, making it a very frustrating experience. But this Aspen Brace has a very good system of string and pulleys that are bind free. The belt is wide enough to provide a significant Velcro contact area that never pops open under duress. I don't usually take the time to recommend any products, but I remember searching for a belt and finding it hard to decide what to buy. This product warrants a positive review. ... show more
