I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter and she loves!!. It's just right for her as a beginner. It's made of good quality and the sound is great. The only thing is the color. It does not match the image. I'ts more pink but she loves it anyway.

My young grandson expressed an interest in learning to play the guitar. The likelihood that he will practice and stick with is quite small, so I didn't want to spend much money, but at the same time wanted to get something that he would see as a real guitar, not a toy. This Asmuse instrument fills the bill well. It is on the low end of what you would call "full size" - by my measurement 37.5 inches. You can see in the pictures the size comparison to a 41 inch guitar. Obviously, the body is a fair amount smaller, so you can't expect a deep, rich tone. For a young child, I think it is a good starter and won't require a big adjustment when he is ready to move up to a larger guitar.
