I'm a serious 14.1 player and use a Balabushka as a daily player (117 high run so far), so I know the difference between junk and good stuff; these are good stuff. These cues are well worth the money and the best deal out there. I did a lot of homework on house cues and these totally exceeded my expectations for the price. I was a little hesitant simply because I was unfamiliar with the Aska brand, but I could not be happier with this purchase. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, the finishes are excellent, and the fit at the joints are seamless. The weights are right on after measuring each one and the balance on all 5 cues is great. These come with Le Pro medium tips already dime shaped - a quick scuff and you're good to go, Shafts are smooth hard rock Canadian maple, and although they are not professional level shafts with professional tapers, I expected a lot less fit and finish for the price - not a bump or ding/dent/ugly spot on a single one. and a nice taper that won't climb your bridge. The shipping and packaging was top notch also to ensure the cues arrived undamaged and in great condition. I am seriously impressed - I never expected these to be as nice as they are for the price. If you're looking for house cues or are stepping up for several members of the family or an APA league team, don't hesitate to buy this set; you won't be disappointed. Don't waste your time on Wally World crap anymore - these are way more cue for relatively the same price as the junk you find in a cellophane wrapper at Wal-Mart. I bought this set and a separate L3 in purple for my wife (her favorite color) in 19oz. to make a 6 piece set and I am a very very happy camper. The single Aska L3 in purple is probably the prettiest of the 6 colors, but all are absolutely stunning! I'm actually going to buy another set for my brother's game room as a house warming gift - these cues definitely step your "game" up a notch.

Previously I've only purchased a few cues from a local discount sporting goods store (for $20 each!), and I was lucky if they lasted a month. So I'm not particularly picky, mainly because we're just recreational players on a cheap second-hand Sears pool table in my man cave. These cues feel so good that now I want a new pool table!! The first thing I did after assembling them was to roll them across my table -- not a single warped cue in the lot! Another nice thing is I purchased a tip shaping tool thinking I'd need it, but these cues came with the tips already shaped! Maybe it's the placebo effect, but I'm playing better already!!

Most pool cues I have owned or used come with the cue weight stamped in ink or burned in. These come with a small sticker at the bottom that will come off easily (maybe thats the new way since most of my cues are older idk). But they are color coded you say... Awesome except you cant see the color if they are in a stand and I am color blind. Other than that obviously small and easily remedied "issue" these cues are great and 98% of the population will love them and can ignore everything I said. The rest of us can use a handheld printer or stamp to burn it in ourselves (maybe soldering iron if you have steady hands). I will not hesitate to buy this set again and am looking for them in 48" so I can let kids destroy things....

We have been using these pool cues for about a year. They are really nice-looking and sturdy. I am glad we found these. Not the cheapest, but I think they hit the sweet spot as far as price and quality. Highly recommended--and would buy again.

Tried replacing my cheap bargain basement maple sticks that had finally warped with new cheap bargain basement maple sticks. Unfortunately, unlike my first cheap maple bargain basement sticks that arrived straight, this entire set arrived wobbly on the rail roll test right out of the box. Had to return them.

I bought these after returning a cheaper set of 4 (3 of which arrived crooked). This set was a little pricier but WELL worth it! Colors and finish are beautiful and the quality of the cues feel solid. Most importantly, all 4 were straight (crucial for houseguests that are picky with equipment they play with).
