I got the grey print in my normal size of 8. This color pair has no tongue, just stretchy fabric (it appears some colors do have a tongue). I have feet that are on the narrow side of average, but I wouldn't say I'm a true narrow. This shoe fits very narrow across the top of my foot and in the overall width. Length is fine. They are stretchy, so maybe with a little time they will stretch a bit and mold to my foot shape. I am keeping them as they are very cute and I do like the stretch in the toe box area. I'm not sure these would really work for running for me but I bought them with the intent of casual wear anyway.

I am so excited that these have been as fantastic as they are. I walk ~10 miles per day for my job passing out flyers, and I walked the soles right off my old pair of sneakers. So painful to walk in after an hour or so. But these are still holding up after months of walking on flat asphalt for about 30 miles per week! I’ve scuffed the bottoms and sides with the way I walk, and they’re still the most comfortable pair of walking shoes I’ve owned. Got my normal size, the toe box is spacious with socks on, and I can slip them on and off without untying. Glad the research paid off!

These shoes are some of the most comfortable ones I have used to walk around on my work concert floor! Also everyone comments on how cool the color is. Definitely a 10/10! My feet don’t hurt as bad, and my plantar fasciitis is slowly (with other therapy) is getting better!

Asics are the best shoes for me at a good price. Getting a half size larger works good for me because Asics seems to run a little smaller. Have both the Asics Venture 8 and Asics GEL-CUMULUS, both feel very comfortable and supportive on my feet. Finding a shoe that fits my troubled feet has been a journey. Asics seems to be well made because of their attention to the detail and attention to the needs of different individuals from plantar fasciitis to a specialized sport's shoe. I am happy to finally be comfortable. In my journey to comfortable shoes, Brooks Ghost 15 also made it to the top of my list.

ASICS is the only brand I wear for walking .. I walk every day 4 to 10 miles.. they are the best brand for me .. I have big feet and wide .. this shoe has never let me down.. I buy a new pair every 6 to 8 mths.. I know this is extreme, but I walk a lot every day and it is what is recommend .. believe me I can not afford the newest style all the time .. I will price shop for the style I use… It’s never good to switch brands/styles for someone who needs a size 11 with D wide .. that comes straight from the professionals running store I have been using for over 15 years .. Because they don’t always have my size I go on line to search..
