    • Most comfortable shoe ever!

Most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Hard to keep clean but love the color. Once dirty sink wash with dawn power spray and Mr clean magic eraser they look new again and I’ve done this about 7 times now. They are holding up very well, I use them for work where I stand all day on concrete and climb maintenance steps of helicopters. Coming from glycerin I would say this is a very comparable shoe with extra cushion offered by the ASICS. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in the blue and orange and those stay clean looking a lot longer. ... show more

This is even more comfortable than the ones they made two years ago! They naturally make you walk a little bit cushier but still stable!     • Great shoe, but sizes tend to run small and narrow

I bought my first pair of ASICS Gel-Nimbus Running Shoes after having knee surgery in 2012. Not only did they allow me to resume running following the surgery, but they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, and I wear them all the time, even though I no longer run. I do have one small complaint. Their sizing is not always consistent. According to some reviews, the Gel-Nimbus 28s tend to run smaller and narrower. I found this to be true, and had to return the first pair I ordered. My 26s were 11-wide, but I had to get 11.5-extra-wide 28s to get a shoe that fit. And it wasn't just larger feet. I measured the width of the 11.5-wide 28s I received the first time, and found they were narrower than the 11-wide 26s I was currently wearing. So when you order, you might have to go up a half size and increase your width. Other than that, they are great shoes. ... show more

Very comfortable. I owned the 23s prior and put alot of miles on them. Over the course of 2 or 3 years I've worn down the cushion and its caused me knee pain. These 28s almost immediately removed and absorbed all the shock from running. Im hoping that the cushion can outlast the amount of miles im prepared to put on them. ... show more

    • Trusty shoe - even though they are short lived

These are the ONLY shoes that my hubby wears. They are the only shoes that fit him well and help him with his plantar fasciitis. He wears them day in and day out. As for durability… he has to buy a new pair about every 3mo and that can get pretty expensive. He puts a lot of miles on them - often 20k steps a day so for most folks they would likely get more time out of them. They start to wear out and the bottom of the shoe will come loose and flap and one side of the shoe tends to wear fast then the other but I think that is unique to him. I wish he would find another shoe that might be a better value and last him a bit longer but he insists on this brand and this exact type of shoe - the gel nimbus… he started at 22 or something around there. ... show more
