If you live in an area where the roads and sidewalks are not well maintained but you want to skate buy these wheels! Especially if you like trail skating. I see absolutely nothing wrong with these. Love the jet black. Love how big they are and they are super easy to put on your skates. They are very grippy as they should be for 78a. They spin so fast! I got a little ahead myself at first lol. I wasn't expecting them to coast this well..once you give a good push off these babies just want to keep rolling..that being said, be careful going downhill and if you are brand new to skating I would wait and get some skating experience before jumping into wheels like this. I am a heavy male, over 265 pounds. My wife and I decided that we could learn to rollerskate by taking lessons. I bought a cheaper pair of Chicago skates from here for 89 bucks. They are actually ok. But the wheels are too small. I took a gamble and invested in these wheels. What a difference! They are like car tires compared to off-roading mudder tires on a 4x4. They roll! These are great wheels! Bought them for my pops so we can go skating together on the board walk (concrete) and there was an immediate difference. The wheels he had prior couldn’t keep up. These wheels are PERFECT! for city and path skating. I just started skating again last year after more than 20 years in between. So being new to skating again after over 40 years of not skating, I purchased 2 used pairs of skate and then 1 new pair Riedells trying to get that smooth roll indoor and outdoor...I finally asked Google and realized how different wheels affect your riding experience, anyway long story short I bought these to skate outside and believe me it was a night and day difference...from lol the 101 wheels I previously had on my skates, these are so smooth and yes can handle cracks on sideways and streets, small gravel etc, very pleased with this purchase ... show more
