- The Bont FX1 roller skate wheel is an ultra-lightweight, ultra-high-performance roller skate wheel. With super high rebound urethane combined with a unique mini bearing hub for fast acceleration and quick laterals
- The Bont FX1 wheel is great for roller derby or indoor rink skating. It is one of the only wheels on the market that uses the smaller 688 or 167 bearings rather than the traditional 608 skate bearing.
- The mini roller skate bearing saves 12 grams per bearing and a whopping 192 grams (6.8oz) on a set of skates. That is a pretty huge weight saving. The mini bearings also spool up faster than 608 bearings getting you up to speed sooner for greater acceleration
- The 688 mini roller skate bearing has an exceptionally fine polished bearing track surface and incredibly precise balls. The lightweight plastic cages allow for lower rolling resistance

These wheels are great for indoor skating. They have a good grip. Once installed on my roller skates, the wheels move freely which is a good sign that the bearing that come with the wheel are decent bearings. I'm not super crazy about the white only color of the wheels since they get dirty quickly and show a lot of the dirt. All in all, a pretty good purchase and a great upgrade of wheels from my older wheels.

These are great wheels! Keep in mind, they are on the softer side (92a) so they aren't the fastest indoors. But since I do a lot of outdoor skating, I'm used to a softer wheel anyway. I'll only be using these babies inside though since they are 92a's... The size is great too! I feel nice and stable on these and was zipping around the rink last week! I do plan on dying them at some point. I don't mind them being White but I know they're gonna be filthy in no time! I watched a couple videos and it seems pretty straightforward. Just make sure to use synthetic dye!

I was hesitant to order these because of the price; it seemed too good to be true. My husband ordered the same wheels and bearings through Bont and these seem legit. I love these wheels! They spin up quickly and are fast. They have the perfect amount of grip and will still slide a tiny bit when you want them to. I dyed them with Rit dye and they came out perfect. (I only left them in for about a minute because they absorbed the dye very quickly.) I've been skating on them for about a month at 2-4x/week and they still look great and are the best wheels I've had so far. (For reference: I was skating on RollerBones 98a before)

Pros : Comes with the bearings Not as wide of a wheel like other derby wheels Better control compared to wider wheels Nice durometer for indoor rinks and derby Easy to replace bearings with new ones Cons : Cleaning the tiny bearings They’re white I’m glad these came with a set of bearings already installed. They are ready to pop onto your skates and get you going. I will be giving these a try for derby to see if I like the smaller wheel base than my current ones. They are white so they will get dirty pretty fast but I’ve heard dying white wheels is quite easy. So I might give that a try. Update: I tried them on our rink and I felt unstable. I was having a hard time going through my skills and drills with the new wheel hardness and smaller width. As soon as I switched them back to my usual derby wheels, everything was back to normal. I will probably give them another go to get used to the smaller wheels. It will take some time to adjust.

I was out of town and brought my skates with me because I knew I'd be going to a rink after SOOO long...but I had forgotten to switch my wheels from outdoor to indoor before I left. So now I have two sets of indoor wheels but these are my new favorites. Skate like the wind!
