The battery purchased is flat, the battery in the watch had a slight curve when removed. I was not sure if it would fit but after some adjustment, I was able to install the battery and close the watch base.

I originally purchased my first replacement battery over a year ago. It was the correct battery with the Curve. I recently purchased a 2nd replacement battery, but this time they sent the Flat Battery. After a few months the battery would not hold a charge! I followed up on the Warranty Claim and they did send me a another replacement battery. It again was Flat! I had multiple discussions with them, but they insisted the Flat would work. It works and it also now malfunctions! It would appear this Flat Battery Unit is putting pressure on the chip and it is causing some of the functions to no longer work as they have in the past. I can't trigger the Heart Rate Monitor to take a measurement, nor can I get the Different Widgets to Scroll in any direction. Not able to increase my Water Count or activate any of the other items. So I'm very disappointed with their representation about the Flat BATTERY... It's not the correct Battery Replacement for the Original Gearfit 2 watch! I think they are simply trying to pass the Flat Battery Off as a Suitable Replacement, but the Reviews Clearly Show that the Results Vary... and they seem to be OK with that. They did not reply back to my request for a curved battery. Only wish I could find a Reliable Supplier that has the Correct Curved Battery for the Gearfit 2 unit. I'd like my watch to work properly with all of the Functions... I need the correct battery for that to happen. Still Looking... 👀

Some complained that it's not curve, well it doesn't need to be curved. Just make sure the battery connector seated properly. At first it didn't work then I used magnifying eye glass and once I connected it right and mementary short the power button contacts then that's it, it working now.

My Gear Fit 2 battery died a few years ago. I didn't think to look for a replacement battery, so I just threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. I recently pulled it out of the drawer and thought I would try to charge it again. No such luck. I found this replacement, and said, why not. I ordered and got it the next day. I then checked the reviews. A lot of people were not happy that the battery was not curved like the original and returned it. Others went ahead and installed it without issue. I too installed it without issue, and now my Gear Fit 2 has new life. The tools that came with the replacement were an added plus. It made replacing the battery a lot easier, for the screwdriver is the perfect size for the tiny screws. My original battery needed charging every couple of days, and I am finding this one will be about the same. I would certainly recommend this replacement for those who want to bring new life to their old Gear Fit 2.

ETA: This battery only lasted about a month. Was great for the first few weeks, but currently it goes critcal about 8 hours after coming off the charger. I was looking for something else and ran across a GearFit 2 in a unopened box. It was a Christmas gift that was never used from about 2018. Of course the battery was dead dead. 0 volts on my voltmeter. Ordered this replacement battery, installed it in about 10 minutes, even with 50 year old eyes. Did use a magnifying glass. New battery wasn't curved, but I closed the case with no issue. It powered it on with about 32% charge. Fully charged and working now. Gonna use the sleep monitoring feature tonight!

Failed to read the reviews prior to ordering. This battery does NOT fit Gear Fit 2 model SM-R360. Picture attached to this review shows original battery is curved to fit into watch body, replacement from this company is not curved and will not fit. Power cable orientation is also incorrect. Returned this battery.
