I have very, very fine straight hair. It's like monofilament. It dries out and gets split ends very easily so I don't wash it but a few times a week. Currently it's in a short messy cut (relevant for later). I moved to a colder climate the constant use of the heater in the house has been a real challenge. It dries out my scalp and hair and gives me horrible dandruff. At night I keep waking with an itchy head. I have only used this once and OMG. I love the cooling sensation it gives. If you don't like product that contain chilling ingredients then avoid this stuff. Reminds me of an old dandruff shampoo my dad used to use that smelled awful but made your scalp feel frosty. Except this smells tolerable. I let this sit on my head for a full 5 minutes before rinsing it out. Then followed up with Neutrogena clarifying shampoo because I wasn't sure if it would weigh fine hair down or make it greasy. Then I comed in a very tiny bit of leave in conditioner (Garnier True Blends, Honey). Then let it air dry using my fingers to fluff it up occasionally so it wouldn't dry pasted to my scalp. After It dried my DH saw it and said I looked like a clown...My hair is so very soft and bouncy and has an insane amount of body. It looks like I have twice as much hair as I actually have. I usually keep my hair style short because the longer my hair gets it weighs itself down till it's lacking body and I would use extra products to add body back. I'm excited. I might be able to grow it a little longer now since I found this product. And my scalp doesn't feel dry and itchy!

I've had dandruff all my life. Nothing worked, or would even make it worse. No OTC or Rx dandruff shampoo helped. Tried topical steroids, coconut and other oils. I went to a dermatologist for years. I used this ONCE and the itch was almost completely gone and so was the dandruff. It sounds like a paid review or a bot post but it really worked. It is very cool and tingly and soothing. The smell is pretty strong but it's just kinda minty. The one thing I would change is the container. Scooping it out of the tub with your fingers in the shower is not easy. The texture is like a thin yogurt so you end up dropping some if you're not careful. A bottle of some kind would be better. I hope they never stop making this!

I love this stuff!! I used to use shampoo, conditioner, styling cream, hair oil. It’s replaced them all. I also notice less shedding. My hair type is medium wavy and works great for me.

This makes my curly hair feel so soft and clean. This co-wash also has amazing benefits for my scalp which is prone to flaking, dryness, and itching! My only complaint is the product packaging. I have bought this item more than once, I have had it leak one but it was replaced. Having it come in a tub makes it difficult to open and use.

Helped my dry itchy scalp alot. Tried many other things with failure. It's watery and hard to open and close with slippery hands after applying. I had developed scalp and skin issues due to black castor oil.

I have curly/wavy hair and try to go as long as I can without a wash because it usually dries out my hair but when I don't wash my scalp gets itchy so it's been a lesser-of-two-evils type of situation until I took a chance on this cowash. First, the smell is fantastic, it's like a supercharged mint. Second, the first time I used it I got compliments on my hair and I was a little bit shocked lol. My hair had more life and more defined curls than when I don't shampoo. I've been using it one to two times a week but I think I'm going to increase that because I just love the way it makes my hair look. And my scalp has felt better than it has in YEARS! I used to have to use medicated shampoo every few days but I've almost completely cut that out now. Please don't ever stop making this product!

I have wavy hair and deal with dry scalp a lot of the times so I get very flaky and itchy. When I started using this, I used it about once a week and it was so refreshing and brought relief to my scalp and left my hair feeling so soft. I loved it!
