After fighting with an obsolete echo dot rigged up to my stereo, and not being able to stomach paying $300+ for another brand of basically the same thing.     • Misleading feature, poor audio quality
I bought this unit looking for a streamer that was Spotify Connect lossless and Tidal Connect compatible. I didn't need a high quality internal DAC (a known shortcoming of this unit), as I have a high end system to feed the optical output to. This unit seemed to fit the bill. What I didn't expect is this unit mangles the high quality bitstream of the two lossless formats when outputting audio through the digital output. The whole point of these two lossless formats *is* high quality bit accurate; this unit doesn't deliver that. It's very misleading advertising to claim "compatible". Worse, I also experienced poor connection reliability, even with a wired ethernet connection. In two days, I experienced multiple dropped connections, and several failures to simply connect,. I have returned this unit and am evaluating another manufacturers unit, can not recommend. ... show more

5 stars !! I've been using it wrong for months. If you can place your amplifier and this Acrylic lp10 near your Internet router and connect the lp10 to the router using a network cable it will never go down. I have outdoor speakers and a outdoor Access point this product works great Everytime I go to use it. ... show more

    • Connectivity issues
The app is really disappointing and after 4 hours of trouble shooting I could not keep from needing to manually reconnect my phone to the device using the app. It would stop erraticly mid stream and disappear from the network even when wired directly via Ethernet. This device does not work for me as advertised. No way to play music from my lan mass storage device either. Replaced this with a high end Bluetooth receiver that works and sounds great every time and is effortless to use with no app needed. Wanted to like it. So this wasn’t a smooth install and setup. I get that USB is th new power standard, but giving you a short cable wasn’t cool. Everyone is going to have an issue, I needed to get a longer one to get it through my stereo cabinet. They also show QR codes and it directs you to the wrong app this is for android and apple. Look for ‘GO Connect’ on both stores. Getting this device working on my network was a problem. I had to do a factory reset and then it worked. It doesn’t tell you that it’s upgrading firmware, I only found out by a fished message stating so. That means you’re watching this thing trying to connect and thinking it’s not working. It seems as if airplay is finicky, google cast and Spotify work fine. The internet radio feature in the app lacks a search feature. I was able to listen to Russian rock radio. That was cool. This isn’t high end, it a little to small but it streams fine. It also has digital out via toslink, that means you can use your own DAC. I paid only $80.00 for this, it was on sale. There is a WIiM model that has great reviews. It’s got a bigger display and better software. On a shoe string budget it seems to be a good choice. ... show more

Exactly what I needed. I was worried, had to use an app on phone to get going. No issues has good settings. As long as device is connected to same wifi, it all works seamlessly and improves sound from Bluetooth. Currently pairing old iPad for airplay. No issues at all.

Excellent little streamer, great sound and quality. Easy to set up. I stream both Tidal and Qobuz. I have it hooked into a Cambridge AXA35 via a Douk vacuum tubes DAC, and Monitor Audio Bronze for speakers. Great match for an intimate room. I got this to replace an old Google Chromecast that finally died. The optical out was one of my requirements (to run into my DAC), and casting from Spotify on my phone does sound great. It can be a little cranky about connecting, worse I would say than my old Chromecast, though usually some combo of toggling from Network to Bluetooth to Line In and back to Network makes it work, worst case firing up their mobile app and connecting to the device. ... show more
