I use a lot of Apple products. My last wireless speaker product was from Bose, and while the sound quality was fine the product itself only supported wireless through bluetooth, not Apple AirPlay. I struggled with the usual bluetooth issues -- random disconnects, distance issues, device synchronization and I frankly got fed up and stopped using the product. I was a bit leery before purchasing the Sonos product. These speakers are not cheap and I was afraid of (again!) waisting my money. Short version is that these are not a waste. They take a few minutes to set up using a separate app from a mobile device. They then sync up perfectly with any Apple devices that support AirPlay. You can then stream to these speakers wirelessly from your phone, pad or computer. The speakers stay connected without random disconnects, because they rely on wifi and/or cable, their range is whatever range you get from your network. (I can stream from one end of my house to the other, and the Sonos speaker stays perfectly in sync with any other device I have connected to the same stream.) And they have a reasonable sound quality for the price. I don't know that you'd want to move these around much, but you can -- size and portability is also good. My only problem now is figuring how many to buy. Not just because I would be nice to have these in multiple locations, but also because you can configure these to run in groups.

Sonos has changed my opinion of large home theater systems based on their quality and ease of integration. I was one of those giant HT guys for years until we moved and wanted a simple, clean but great sounding surround system. I stared off with a Playbar and Sub. By itself these sounded great and I was overall satisfied. Wanting to see how it could sound with adding rears I finally picked up a pair of the One Sls on a cyber Monday sale. I was concerned at first after reading some negative reviews about connectivity and other issues, but I trust Sonos products snd gave it a try. Overall, I’m very pleased. I was able to unbox and add the speakers to my system in about 10 minutes. The app makes it very easy and intuitive. Once each speaker did a small update, they were ready to go. I tested them out watching Quantum of Solace. The Ones added a lot more detail and nuance then with just the Playbar and Sub alone. Watching the movie was a more immersive experience and added way more impact to crashes and explosions. Sound quality is excellent for this application as rear speakers. I like that you can tune them and adjust for distance from the listening position. Whatever information that is being sent to them sounds as good to me as any 5.1 setup. You do have the ability to adjust the volume for the rears based on your preference for more or less sound. If you are a Sonos lover, give these a try. It was money well spent for me and has added another level of enjoyment to family movie night.

Alright alright. I'm due for another AMZN review. Can you tell I'm a big bad stock trader now? This time, we're talking Sonos (SONO for my WallstreetbetsLP crowd). We talking teams? YEA BOI WE ARE. Investing in a set of Sonos has been one of the best decisions I've made since moving into my new shanty apartment in NYC. I bought two of the Sonos One SL's and have them wired up in my apartment. These things can fill up the entire place with the vibes. For sure. Now now, I know what you're thinking. "OF COURSE THEY DO. YOU LIVE IN A SMALL NYC HOBBIT HOLE. ANY OLD SPEAKER COULD FILL IT WITH SOUND." And you'd be right, so I guess you win there.... But these things do fill it with amazing sound, have a cool tuning feature to dial in the right EQ mix, are sold at a great price point, can be bundled together with other Sonos for entire home sound, and they connect directly to Spotify. Plus they are super lux/sexy and easy to install. Now I wouldn't be objective without discussing the con's. I alluded to this before, but the Sonos app is a true piece of GARBAGE.... So, if you're a Spotify user, just circumvent it by connecting directly. Likewise, you can Apple AirPlay for any other audio, though the lag time is pretty brutal (HEY FIX THIS). Actually the lag time is super slow across the board, so if you're trying to get cute as a DJ or have musical Tourettes (changing the song all the time), these will definitely frustrate you and make you look silly. In all? Buy em, never look back. Then just keep buying more. Just for the love of God, don't use the Sonos app once you've set the speakers up.

I am so happy with this purchase. I bought two so I could pair them together for stereo sound. The stereo separation is great and the sound from these little speakers is even better. Just the right amount of bass and no tinny sound, even at low volume. I bought these in “Used - Like New” condition from the Amazon Warehouse and am not disappointed. The value for the money, in my opinion, is exceptional. One issue that I had was the setup; it was frustrating because it could not make the connection to my wireless network. But when I researched what the different color lights on top of the speaker means I realized that the speaker(s) had already been set up. Which makes sense because I bought them as used. So I googled how to reset them to the factory default settings and after doing that the setup was a breeze. And in less than 5 minutes I had both speakers set up and paired together for stereo sound. I have an iPhone and using Airplay in Apple Music has worked flawlessly. The Sonos app allows you to access multiple music streaming services in one place, so that is nice. The user interface is good too. Overall, I’m very happy with the Sonos One SL and am pleased to give it a 5 star rating.

I was hesitant at first to purchase after reading many negative reviews. However, most of the negative reviews had to do with mount adaptability, non blue tooth, no 3.5mm input and connectivity issues. Nothing about the sound. I bought a Sonos One(gen 2) from Home Depot where my wife works as I didn't want to wait to have it shipped and the price was the same. Connection to my wifi went without a hitch and used the trueplay to set up the sound for my bedroom office. I use Amazon Music Unlimited which connected with ease as did setting up Alexa. I was blown away by the sound and especially the base. After about two weeks of use, and getting the email about the sale prices, I decided to add an SL so I could set them up in a pair. The SL arrived through Amazon and once again setup went without a hitch. Went with the SL as I already had voice control on the One so saved the extra money. All I can say is Wow! Great sound for the money. I'm sure the Gen 3 and 5 are phenomenal but I couldn't justify spending that much more at this time. The sound detail on the music, especially now with a pair, is just incredible and the bass that comes through is way more than I could have ever expected. I listen to a variety of Metal genres, Metallica, FFDP, Tool, Rammstein, Disturbed, Godsmack etc and there is no comparison to the soundbars I used to use. If you are on the fence and can follow simple setup steps I highly recommend either the One or the SL for the money.

A solid wireless speaker for its size. It's impressive. I bought a pair of them as my rear surround set of speakers to pair them with the Sonos Beam soundbar. They replaced my $2,000 Bose 5.1 entertainment speakers set with the GIANT subwoofer and a lot of hard to hide and manage wires AND my $1,000 Onkyo Amp. All for little more than a fifth of the price. It sounds equally good with much more capabilities where I got rid of a lot of extra stuff and a whole lot of cables. Man, what a relief. If you dislike unsightly cables and wires as much as I do, and you're not a fan of having a GIANT 75-80 lb of sub laying around and taking precious space in your family room. This is the way to do it.

The Sonos brand had created an amazing product that all of the big name speaker companies are now trying to mimic. Sonos is the one brand that is doing it all right and the quality is great. You can unplug any speaker and move it to another room / location without missing a beat. Also, setting up different types of music on each speaker is priceless! Drawback with this technology: Setup is easy but only if you have a STRONG WiFi signal throughout your location. If not then speakers might drop off and you'll have to re-add them.

I rarely feel so positive about a product that I write a review. This SONOS system is even better than what I expected or hoped for The sound it very good, but its the app that makes it amazing. When I first researched buying these, I expected to have a dedicated tablet somewhere in my house to adjust music selection, etc. Being able to control the music from any device is wonderful. Change volumes in each room differently or raise the volume across the board? No Problem. Playing any music on any app? No problem. I went back and bought more speakers to make sure the whole house was covered.
