This rug really went a long way in making our main living room more homey and warm. We just redid our floors and had no rugs or carpet anywhere. For the price and size of this rug, I have no complaints whatsoever. It has exceeded my expectations quality wise for being under $150. I think it was under $120? Anyway, the colors are more vibrant in person than online. Our home decor is modern farmhouse vibes (well, eventually) with lots of shades of grays, browns and light blues. The rug has many colors and gives a nice splash of life to the room. Getting a rug pad for underneath is essential so it stays in place and doesn’t move at all. It gives it a little more softness too. We got the one that around $25 and just shy of the size of the rug so no weird overlapping. It did take a good solid 2 weeks to completely be flat with no more curling from being rolled up upon delivery…FYI. ... show more

After our previous shag rug started shedding like crazy, we decided it was time to replace it. After poring through HUNDREDS of options on Amazon (and West Elm, Ruggable, etc.) we decided on this one because we liked the design, colors, and price. (You really can't beat $70 for a 5x7 rug!) Based on general rug reviews, we were half-expecting the design to disappoint or the smell to be strong or the edges to be messed up, but it turned out to be great! This particular "garnet" pattern is intentionally faded and is true to the Amazon image. It's not a soft, plush rug -- it's actually a little coarse -- and not super thick, but we like it. I'm sure buying a rug pad could make it a little thicker, but it stays put on our hardwood floors without one and we like that there's no chance of tripping on it. For the price point, these rugs fit the bill. However, they are *incredibly* thin so don't expect that it will feel good while you're walking on them. Additionally, and probably due to how thin the material is, when the rugs arrived rolled up (they were well packaged), the backing material had really significant creases. I ordered two so for one of them I unrolled it and put heavy objects on the corners. For the other one, I unrolled it and then reverse rolled it for a couple of days - that one turned out much better and laid flatter without such obvious creasing. Arrived earlier than expected. Package was well sealed and after unrolling I was able to make the edges lay flat within about 15 minutes. Looks just like the picture. It is thin, but that is what I wanted. The material feels soft to the touch and it seems durable enough for our high traffic living room with two dogs and two children. I’ve sent a lot of rugs back. This one is a keeper! I did put a pad under it to make it thicker but the colors are beautiful and it laid flat right away.

On the one hand, I LOVE this rug and I get a lot of compliments on it and what it adds to this room visually. On the other hand, it is very thin. It’s not plush by any means, which is fine. I didn’t need some big cushy thing, though that would’ve been cool. But by far, the most annoying is if it gets even a tiny bit wet, it warps and takes days to go back to flat but it also never truly goes 100% back to flat. Especially if the area that was wet is near one of the rugs edges. You can even see in one picture, we used gorilla glue rug stickers to hold the rug to the floor (this was very necessary in the beginning because no matter how many heavy things we placed on the Edge of the rug, the waves and curls from being rolled up at delivery would nottttt flatten out. These stickers helped a ton. But you can see that it appears the rug has shrunk as now you can see the stickers, where you shouldn’t be able to because we initially placed them completely under the rug, obviously. This is a corner of the rug that was recently wet as of this morning, so this is what it looks like immediately in those moments. Between a toddler and a dog, spills and such just happen so it’s pretty annoying that it reacts this way. ... show more

I love this rug! It's the perfect size, and the colors. It truly resembles an antique Persian rug with a tad of pop here and there. It's not too thin, but if you're looking for a thick, plush rug to sink your toes into, look elsewhere. I did put a thick, anti-slip mat under it though, so it works perfect for my needs. The quality of this rug is great, and you can't beat the price on a rug this size! ... show more
