My next door neighbors and I ordered this to put on the metal view fencing that separates our yards. They recently adopted a dog that does not get along with ours. The fence has chicken wire going up several feet and we both put this Ivy fence screen up over it so the dogs can’t see each other and it’s really helped to keep the peace. It also looks surprisingly good! We had to buy longer zip ties to fasten it securely. It was fairly easy to put up.

Still looks like new after being outside in full sun for over 5 months! I bought these panels after testing out their 10”x10” size boxwood panels 8 months ago. At that time , I had bought several brands of boxwood panels to see which brands would have the best longevity. I discovered that the other brands green color faded in a month or so in full sun outdoors whereas this brand still look like new! So I went ahead and bought the 20”x20” panels to cover areas I needed privacy as well as covering up barren areas where landscape plants had died in the extreme heat and water restrictions. For picky people these are not going to look real when viewed up close but these have fooled people causally walking past them. I have even gotten compliments on my “garden greenery”. I love that these can be placed in full sun outdoors and look very nice year round. In winter they become nice evergreen back drops when everything around them has browned up. They came very pressed, flat together. There were a few loose pieces of boxwood that I just snapped on most any place on the panels as finding the original spot would have taken far too much time. There was a slight smell but not too bad. I spread them out and sprayed and hosed them with a little Dawn and water. After a day or so, I fluffed out the panel running my fingers through the top. I used the end snap pieces to attach them together. I really have been impressed with the DOPGIB quality , colors and longevity. So much more cost effective than buying plants for areas where nothing will grow. While they do not look real close up they really look good enough to fool some people walking by them. Occasionally, a little stem has fallen off, but nothing noticeable. Considering it is outside in the elements , winter ice , spring hail storms and summer 110+ degree heat that is just something that can happen to even real plants. I am continuing to add to my garden collection of DOPGIB panels as I just love their quality and looks!

Pretty self explanatory to install. I wish they were more full but they lo great from afar. They cover a lot space which is a plus. They smell like plastic at first but it goes away over time.

These fake boxwood panels have served us well. They have been up for a while and are maintaining their color. The panels were easy to connect together as we could get our fingers into the grid easily. The color is nice and they actually feel like boxwood plants. There was no odor but as we used them outside we may not have smelled it.

I was worried when I opened the box and these panels were smashed into a tiny cube. I was even more worried when I pulled them apart and saw a bunch of holes and gaps in the leaves. I pressed on, tried to meticulously fluff each piece until my fingers were raw, attached them together into a hanging wall, and stepped back to look. It looked - not great. I could see the individual squares. It looked like a checkerboard. They ended up looking really good though. Read on. Here's how I got these to look great: 1. Buy a heat gun. (I don't think a hair dryer will work) 2. Hang these while your building so you have access to both sides. It comes with zip ties that are easily removalable. 3. Fluff each piece by hand, but don't try too hard. You mainly just want to get the parts crushed down due to shipping. The heat gun should do the rest. 4. After you get it all together, hit the back of the whole thing with the heat gun. As it works its magic, you should see the leaves start to move. Keep the gun on it until the movement starts to slow. IMPORTANT: Keep the gun moving constantly so you don't burn it melt the leaves. Also, you'll need to be about 3-4 inches from the back of the leaves. The material is pretty thick, so don't worry too much - just keep the gun moving. 5. Soon after applying heat to the back, move to the front while it's still warm and rake the leaves with your fingers. It will be much softer now, so you can really get it fluffed up to fill in the gaps and remove the checkerboard lines. 6. Repeat as needed. If you still see any big gaps or lines, hit that spot again with the heat gun, from the back, then rake the leaves with your fingers in the front. See my before and after pics for what you can expect. I takes a little work, but I'm very happy with the results.

I am hopeful that this will hold up in the sun and rain. Was easy to install. Had to cut a couple of panels to make it fit, but a good pair of scissors worked fine. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that I ordered 2 rolls and they were not the same. The back grid is very different, and the ivy is not the same either. It is noticeable but not worth the return. They were ordered the same day and came from the same place so I am not sure how I would have avoided getting another different roll. Looks full enough for where we used it (on lattice walls on out patio) and hopefully it will hold up to the elements.
