For me, it's definitely a 5-star item because for my particular use, it will work just fine. What IS my use? I had a big (32' wide by 10' deep) front porch built last summer, then a pathway from my driveway to the front porch entrance area after that. There's about 18-24" of grass between the porch and the pathway, but it's impossible to mow with my riding mower and so I will be using this fake grass in that area (if needed, I will use landscaping staples to hold it in place). This plan will work for me because I wasn't planning to actually PLANT anything there - rather, I will use potted flowers and greenery, and I think they will look beautiful. I ordered the 7'x10' size and that gives me LOTS of area to cut my fake grass sections. Other projects are higher priority right now, so I took some pictures on my porch but haven't yet cut the rug to size, so I will try to remember to come back and take another picture once this is in place in at least one of the areas in front of the porch. My first picture was when I first opened the box - the "grass" looked very green and very lush. It does have a few bare spots, as you can see in my second picture when I laid the "grass" out on my porch, but again, for my purposes, it is definitely full enough. For my third picture, I just had some fun and added my Christmas resin dog on top of the rug - I think he enjoyed that "grass"! And for my fourth picture, I wanted to see how potted plants would look on the "grass," so that's what you see - a 14" planter with flowers and a 12" planter with greenery. I think they look very nice, especially the beige of the planter on the deep green of the rug. Overall I am very happy to have this and I will be even happier when we finally get it into place! The current coupon price of $75.99 (as of 6/3/26) isn't bad at all for a "grass" rug of this size.

I ordered this artificial grass for a deck project but ended up not installing it. My wife convinced me to leave the deck as is since we were planning to sell and move and she did not want to leave the turf behind. As a result it is currently in storage waiting for the next house. Even though I have not permanently installed it I was able to unroll it and compare it to the artificial grass I currently have on my deck. The difference in quality was immediately noticeable. The grass fibers feel thicker and softer and the backing appears much more durable. The turf I have now came from a discount store and this product feels like a definite step up. The size was accurate and it laid out nicely after being unrolled. The rubber backing adds stability and gives it a more substantial feel. I also like that it can be cut to fit different spaces which adds versatility for patios decks balconies and other outdoor areas. Based on my inspection the durability looks promising and the material appears capable of holding up well outdoors. The low maintenance design is another benefit since there is no mowing watering or special care required. I cannot fully rate long term performance since it has not been installed yet but from a quality standpoint I am impressed. The quality value for money size stability versatility and overall appearance all seem very good and I am looking forward to using it at our next home.

I had pretty mixed feelings about this artificial grass rug. From a distance, it actually looks decent and it definitely improved the bare, shady spot in my yard where nothing seems to want to grow. For that alone, it served a purpose. But once you get up close and walk on it, it feels much more like an outdoor carpet than what I personally think of as true artificial turf. The pile is pretty thin, and the whole thing is lightweight compared to higher quality turf products. It does have some softness to it, but it lacks the thicker, more realistic feel that you would expect from premium artificial grass. The backing seems okay for light use, but I honestly question how well it’s going to hold up long term outdoors, especially in areas that get regular foot traffic or weather exposure. To be fair, installation is easy since it’s lightweight and simple to move around, and I like that you can trim it to fit different spaces. It could work well for temporary use, covering an ugly patch, a patio area, or even as a backdrop or decorative surface. I just wouldn’t go into this expecting it to feel like professionally installed artificial turf. Overall, I’d call this more of a turf-style outdoor rug than true artificial grass. It looks better than bare dirt, but I was hoping for something thicker and more durable. Right now, I’d give it 3 stars. It’s usable, but I’ll probably keep looking for a more long-term solution.

Artificial turf is very poorly made and I would not recommend you purchase it. That said, I did not need it to be a very good quality so it's working fine for my needs. But I believe you'll be disappointed if you purchase this artificial turf

I've used this section on my front door entryway and it looks great and natural. I would judge that the material will last a long time because the section is placed in an rain free and mostly weather free area. Value for the money looks good no matter what size you buy because the TPR material is rubber backed making it as slip proof as possible. It can be staked down, glued and or just laid on concrete or pavers. My section is seven feet by ten feet and just fits the entryway fully. The material has a soft touch and the creases disappeared fairly quickly.

I ordered the turf rug for my outdoor patio area to dress up my outdoor patio area and to help keep my bare feet from burning up on the naked cement. The turf looks great and is definitely better in quality than some of the other turfs I've seen at hardware stores at the same price point. The backing looks secure and the color is a nice bright green rather than some of the darker green turfs on the market. The 7ft x 10ft size allows for good coverage, and buyers have the option to trim the turf to accommodate their desired locations. This turf is not going to fool users into thinking you have a green lawn on your patio or front porch, but it will make your placement area feel more inviting. As far as value, some buyers may have mixed opinions on the affordability of the turf at its current price point, but I will say it made my placement area pop.

We like to use this artificial grass turf rugs at all entry ways, it helps to cut down on debride being tracked into the house. This rug is a very nice size and is green. That's where the positives end. All edges are unfinished and are just straight cut plastic, it is a smooth cut. The grass it's self is very sparse and thin, you can see through to the substrate. The grass is not full enough to make it stand upright, but lays down and just flops around. I know that in one season the underneath vegetation will just grow through it. This would be good for a camping substrate, and works in areas that you do not expect to have lush material.
