I like it. It's soft on feet and looks nice. Once the pool is open, I believe it will be more pleasant than walking on deck. Dogs like laying on it. It was really easy to work with. Suggestion: (a mistake I made) in order to reduce scrap, bought it 6' wide and ran one section opposite direction. That piece looks different when sun hits it. The media could not be loaded. I like this better than I thought I would, and it's perfect for the floor of the catio! My cat has no problem with it's texture. It's very soft, but does get hot in the sun. I am considering it for the front yard in 1 ft strips all going the same way so the pile is the same throughout. Sweeping it with a soft bristle broom actually works to remove petals and leaves. And it kind of sparkles in the sun as if it were covered with dew. ... show more

This artificial grass was the perfect solution to my problem. I have a very large birdbath, and when I empty it, there is a torrent of water that spills onto the ground. This created a muddy mess! I first thought of seed and hay, but the water is emptied frequently, and the force of it would wash anything planted away. The same for grass plugs; they would never take root. This grass is absolutely beautiful. I was able to install it quickly and easily, and best of all the water from the birdbath drains through the grass. No more muddy mess, or a bare dirt patch. As you can see, the grass blends in with the lawn well. I did purchase metal spikes (with the green top) to secure it in place. Very, very happy with my purchase. The quality is very good. I use it to make a dog run in area where my dog runs along the fence and gets all muddy. I dug out the area, put in crushed granite, put in ground treated pine with paver base on top then adhesive the Turf to the run. A lot of work but it is great. on a 56 foot run I saved over $2300 by doing it myself. ... show more

I debated on whether or not to give this 3 or 4 stars. Let me start by saying that I would rate the actual look and feel of this grass a 5. I have no complaints there. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It looks fairly realistic to me. The turf arrived rolled up and packaged in plastic material. It was very minimal and there was nothing else included with the product. That was fine. The downside? The smell was terrible. It was a "this can't be good for me to breathe in" type of chemical smell. Accompanying the strong petro stench was as slightly greasy residue on the grass. I washed it with soap and water and mostly got rid of the greasy film. After a few heavy rains, it was gone completely. I've had this for weeks now, maybe a month, and the smell has largely gone away. Ultimately, I decided to keep it, but if I had small children or vulnerable animals/pets, I would've returned it due to the odor and residue. ... show more

The area is too small to fuss with putting in real grass and it's in the back where it won't be seen much, so this was the perfect choice. Looks good, maintenance free, and our dog seems to like it.
