I got this for use under my kids kidcraft play house and it’s perfect size. Prior to adding this fake grass the kids really never played with the play house and for the last couple of weeks they’ve been playing with it daily. I ordered a bunch of these Artifical Grass roles from different brands to compare and contrast... but as it turns out, they're all entirely identical, with only the slightest variation on length. These smell pretty bad right out of the packaging, but it isn't noticeable after airing out. The inside-end of the roll also takes a bit to relax and stay flat, but eventually does with some coaxing and time in the sun. It's wrapped in cling wrap, then a tarp-like wrap on the outside. When handling it, it leaves a substance on my hands... I feel like more time in the sun will only cause it to leach more, so I think this will always be a problem, but it's more prevalent on the bottom than on the grass portion. The grass itself feels decent on bare skin. It didn't shed too much, and vaccuums nicely. The rubber backing has little holes in it to pin to the ground, as needed. The width measures 4 feet, but the length seems to vary slightly between 71-72 inches. It all comes down to price, and this one seems competitive if you only need a small amount.

I don't know what we expected but it wasn't quite the plastic grass we got. I'm not complaining, we put it in our "yard" (a dirt patch out back) and it's served it's purpose. Just be aware and measure because it IS a small patch, kind of like a runner.

We have some terrible dirt patches throughout our lawn and I keep thinking maybe we should just rip up the whole thing and put in artificial grass. Then I wondered if you could mix the two--you know, keep the fresh grass and cut out some artificial grass for the most obviously bare patches of dirt. Not the best idea as it turns out because as you can see, side by side, they look night and day. The artificial grass is so much brighter and more distinctive looking. It is nice and would be good for a pet or maybe a small side area. For now, I am just leaving the 4x6 mat sitting there on the lawn because I am not quite sure what to do. I either need to buy some new fresh sod to fill in the gaps or rip out everything and lay down all artificial grass. There is no in between, no mixing and matching here!

This is nice looking and feeling artificial turf. I scuff around on it trying out the feel with my bare feet. My only complaint, and its a minor one, is that the bottom is not porous. This means that water pools up on it rather than draining through. If you use it as a pet wee wee pad, it will not drain out, and poo will not be washed through with a hose. Also, in the sun, the plastic grass gets a bit hot on bare feet! The plastic grass is non-recycled polyethylene and the backing is a flexible rubber. The grass blades are a little under an inch long. I think the turf is a very good value for the cost, especially if you are setting many squares together to cover a large area. If you need it to drain, look for a different brand.

I ordered this to put in my yard because it often gets very muddy after a short period of rain and I wanted to be able to sit out in my yard with my dogs and just enjoy the day. Although it is a nice looking matt, it is relatively expensive. The grass doesn't look very real once it stands up and it takes a while to do so but that didn't really matter to me considering what I was using it for. I thought it was kind of expensive but I still like the aesthetic of having it in my yard.
