All Artificial Christmas Trees will require some extra work to live up to their potential, this tree was no exception. It will take a couple of hours to get it fully set up and lighted before the decorating can begin. I will say the tree looks wonderful once fully worked up. I was only slightly disappointed in the top of the tree not having "hinged" branches. They are all solidly attached wires requiring not only "fluffing" but also the main stems needed to be bent out which means doing re-adjusting after the rest is done. Here are my nit-pic items: A. The tip top is just another limb sticking straight up, no nice "post" to put your star, angel, whatever on without mashing down some "branches". B. Sturdy base but the legs could be a bit wider to give it more stability, we have cats and the little fur pigs love Christmas Trees. C. Not very realistic needles, but then again, I didn't pay $500+ Pros: 1. Seems to be well constructed so I gave 5 stars to the Durability rating even though I just set it up for the first time today. Definitely better built than all of the un-lit and most pre-lit trees I looked at that all the major retailers and lumber/hardware stores. 2. Very nice look over all, the flocking of the tips and the pine cones was very attractive if a bit of a mess. 3. The added pine cones were a very nice touch. 4. The center "trunk" of the tree was easy to assemble and the sections were not too heavy even though they were definitely more substantial than a lot of others I looked at. Cons: 1. Definitely a mess to set up, the flocking flies even though I opened the box outside and shook each section, not sure there really is anything that can be done about that. 2. This is more of a nit pic really but the green covering of the branches in the middle section and bottom section does not go all the way to the trunk. This may only be a con for me as I am a bit obsessive about lighting a tree. I like to run clear lights up the middle to make the tree glow from the inside which shows up the naked metal a bit. Hopefully the ornaments will hide that. Overall, this is a very good artificial tree and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a higher end tree to light yourself. ... show more

I am really disappointed with this tree. I was super excited when I ordered this tree and couldn’t wait to get it. My first disappointment was that it was supposed to arrive two day shipping, but it got delayed 4 days. When it arrived I couldn’t wait to put it together. The box had a hole and a plastic piece was broken off 😢. But because it was already late and my kids were so excited about putting it up we started the process. Putting it together was fairly easy. I fluffed all the branches like it stated and left it up overnight in the hopes that it would fluff up more. It is defiantly not as full as expected and I can see right through the tree as there are big gaps. I can look at the tree and see the center if the tree. Very disappointed. My daughter got a tree half the prices and it’s extremely full, I am a little jealous. I would return but my kids have been waiting to decorate and we already waited longer then expected because if the delay in shipping. I added a picture of the tree advertised because it shows how full it is and then a picture of the tree I got for comparison. I keep moving the branches around to try and fill the caps but the gaps are still there. ... show more

Apologies for the bad picture! This was a good value for the price. Very full. The "snow" on the branches does fall off a little bit. It has a larger gap between the floor and lowest branches than I expected, but it left a lot of room for presents. The height listed includes the tree stand, not the tree by itself. It came in three pieces. The bottom two are hinged and the top one is made out of wire that you have to pull down. The bottom piece is the fullest. I think I spent more than an hour arranging the branches. You have to pull down each branch and then separate and curve each piece of the branch. I worked from the inside out, pulling two pieces downwards and the next two up, then repeated - a little different than the instructions but looked better that way. I tried to overlap with neighboring main branches. The side branches are on flexible wires. The top two pieces get progressively sparser and require more effort to arrange to have no gaps - especially the topmost one. I pulled some pieces of the bottom branches down farther to make the bottom layer lower. The hinges seem a little flimsy and the little side branch pieces won't hold some ornaments. Anything heavy can't be put on a branch tip, you have to put them farther in and they'll stay. The stand is not great. It is hard to get the tree straight, even if you screw in each side a little at a time. I had to tip the tree in the right direction - it's not firmly held by the stand and we screwed it in tight. If anything bumps it, it sways to a crooked position, and I have to tip it back. Bottom line? Get your own stand, invest the time to arrange the branches, and this tree can look pretty good. It's never going to look like a real tree, but I do like it. ... show more

I wanted to give this 5 stars because it really is a gorgeous tree when put together. However when assembling, one of the holes on the base wasn't big enough for the screw so we had to drill it bigger. The middle section that went into the bottom section was all sorts of bent and the tree leans. Flocking was everywhere too. What I do love is that the limbs are hinged so no attaching each individual branch. With the pinecones and flocking, it almost doesn't need decorated. ... show more
