Pretty pattern. Good color. Wish I'd seen the different widths and lengths before ordering. Using for other than a straight flat application was somewhat difficult. Trying to paper up a "backsplash" caused the "paper" to split at the corner. The backing paper did not come off in 1 piece, so I had to pull up some perfectly placed sections to find where the backing paper was still attached. Repositioning then caused minor wrinkles to what had been "WhooHoo! Look at that!", which was a little aggravating. All in all, I just wish the " film" had been a little thicker. ... show more

We bought this dinky little island for the kitchen a few months back, but something had meanwhile marked the wood grain effect top. I decided to try and get a roll of contact paper to match the existing counter top in the kitchen, and found this, which is an almost perfect match. As someone who has only imperfectly lined a few shelves, I cannot claim experience or skill. I’ve watched no tutorials, did not look up how to do corners, and bulldozed through this project in one curse-filled angry evening. I do not recommend this method. However, I am not mad at the paper. It was inexpensive and even with my terrible application, I like it better than the metallic gray I started with. Things to know before buying: • This is coated *paper*. It will tear and slice if you’re not careful. However, thanks to the coating, I was able to wipe away some ink marks with alcohol spritzed on a paper towel. These marks happened when the pen I used for marking (use pencil!) made ink blobs and the weight flew off the end of my paper causing it to roll on itself and smear the blobs >_< • This will look most vibrant on a white surface as it is not opaque. • The adhesive is very forgiving. You will be able to slowly and carefully peel it up and fix mistakes. It’s sticky enough, though, that I don’t think it will peel on its own. Overall, I recommend taking the time to learn to do your application correctly. The lack of craftsmanship on my keyboard tray is not a reflection of the paper, but of my own stubbornness. I’m in the process of decluttering my beauty products, and the urge to repurchase my storage drawers was strong. The drawer bottoms were dirty and had oil residue from various make-ups and lotions. Before tossing them, I decided to give contact paper a chance. To give them a “waterproof” layer and a fresher look. I’m so glad I did! This paper was a super affordable and easy way to refresh and restore my drawers. I was nervous that it would be too complicated and I’d get air bubbles or a rough “DIY” look. Luckily, that wasn’t a problem at all! This was so easy to apply, and very forgiving. The few air bubbles I did get, I was able to scrape out with a card and even peel up and reposition the paper for a smooth look. This is my first time trying this, and it went very well. I would advise cutting your size needed and laying it under a heavy book for a little while to prevent the paper from curling up. It doesn’t have any result on the end product, but makes it super easy to apply! I feel like I have a new vanity for the small cost of a roll of contact paper. ... show more

It looks really nice! However, it is pretty thin. I would have liked it to have been thicker because it can rip easily if it’s scratched but it looks great for the price! Ran out of paper so definitely recommend getting at least 3 rolls if you plan on covering a big surface.
