This case is all wood, very attractive and well designed. If you were to buy the pastels, the colored pencils and paints separately without the nice case you would have paid more. I just received mine yesterday and I could not be happier. I see a lot of children on youtube getting these for presents, which is fine, but I am 69 and a very well established artist with my work in multiple galleries and I still can appreciate having several different mediums in a convenient package to travel with.
