This is a really nice set for your child. You know, the one who is responsible and puts away each color in their place before taking out the next color, just like you said. We've all got one of those. I got it for my 3 year old. You really don't appreciate how many pieces there are until after you've rounded up all 154 of them from various parts of the house. To give you an idea of how tedious that task is, take three decks of of playing cards, open them up (you can remove the jokers and the instructions for the sake of fairness) and then walk around your house, flinging handfuls of cards willy-nilly every 10-15 steps. Now imagine how easy it would be to spot and pick up all of those cards, as they would tend not to roll around and end up under every conceivable nook and cranny. Not so much so with 154 rolling objects. She ended up playing with the miniature plastic scissors which wouldn't cut paper more than anything else though. Playing with is not the right word there - she was frustrated by how this simple machine wouldn't perform its most basic and essential task almost as much as I was - but safety first. She was terribly excited to see all of those colors though, so I guess it was worth it. ... show more
