So far I love it. I can hold way more beverage in my this container and it takes up less room than some of my other containers. The mouth on the top is plenty large enough to pour anything any it. I filled mine with tea. I had no problems washing it out. NO you can't fit your hand inside, but I have a bottle brush that I easily was able to get into the nooks and cranies. Its not heavy duty so will not take a lot of abuse. But taking it in and out to fill, refill and wash it should hold up for a while. Make sure you spout is nice and tight. Mine kept leaking at first until i figured out that it needed to be tighten just a smidge more and it was fine. I purposely tested it with just plain water first before I started actually using it for that reason. I recommend doing that so you don't make a big mess in your fridge.

Leaks on and off and never the same way. To have free flow the cap o top must be loose (like the big liquid laundry soap) only this plastic is not going to flex like the laundry tubs. I have an elderly family member with severe nerve damage in the spine that causes many physical problems. She can't even lift a half gallon without pain not to mention a gallon jug. For me the minor leaking is an ok trade off considering how much it help for me to not always be there to pour a glass drink.

I believed the good reviews more than the bad and took a chance. NEVER AGAIN. I am so upset. Got it, rinsed it out, filled it about 2/3 to 3/4 full. Two hours later: I just finished wiping up all the water that dripped out the spout or came out an unsealed seam (I don't know which) in my refrigerator! It was on every shelf, under every item AND on the floor!!! Thank goodness I saw it when I did. What if I had filled it to capacity? The really bad part is I live in an RV which my friend hasn't quite finished leveling for me due to some settling. He's coming back tomorrow. So added to the problem was water flowing toward the front of my frig and out through the door. Also, in RVs they try to keep the weight down with materials. The area under my refrigerator is some sort of laminate over some kind of board. Well, the water popped the laminate off from it seeping out of the frig and onto the floor!! I am soooooo angry. I just bought my RV. It's only three months old!! Can you imagine how p'd off I am?!? Horrible product for unsuspecting buyers!!

This container was perfect for 5mth cross-country RV trip. Fit perfectly standing up in our refrigerator. Easily dispenses drinks like ice tea w/o any leaks. A little tricky to clean corners and thru the tube handle, as you have to use a flexible brush that bends 90º to reach hard spots. Ended up buying on Amazon... I have a number of these that I use for different purposes. The one I use most is a thinner 1 gallon one that stays in my fridge with iced tea or Kool Ade in it. I don't use this two gallon one as much as the others, but it probably saves me more work than any of them. You see, I hate going to the grocery store, and I found that most of the time I HAD to go was for milk. I can buy and freeze everything else, meat, bread, even gallons of milk, but buying four or five gallons of milk at a time and freezing them is a hassle, so I started making milk two gallons at a time from non-fat dry milk. I had to drink it as a kid back in the 50's and 60's, usually mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with whole milk to save money. They did things like that back in those days when you had five kids and didn't rely on the government to feed them for you. But I always hated it. So once I bought some instant milk for emergencies and when I ran out of whole milk and didn't want to go to the store, I used it and found out it's not like it was back in the old days. I add one can of evaporated milk to two gallons of milk and you really can't tell the difference. So, what's that got to do with this container, you might ask? Well, I found it's much better to drink milk out of cold glass bottles, so I started storing the milk in pint and half-pint bottles in my fridge for convenience, as well as the taste. (You can buy the milk bottles right here on Amazon.) But what a hassle mixing the milk in a gallon pitcher and pouring it into the bottles through a funnel! And then I found out that non-fat milk does not go sour like whole milk and I started making TWO gallons at a time! TWICE the hassle!. So I saw this two gallon beverage dispenser with a spigot and I got this great idea to make it in the container, just add the milk powder and the water and shake it up... no stirring with a big wooden spoon like with a pitcher, and then simply fill the twenty six bottles (six pints and 20 half-pints) using the spigot! And since I don't store milk in the container, and always rinse it right away, it's easy to keep clean! So 5-stars for this and 5-stars for not having to go the the grocery store but once every five or six weeks! For some reason this spigot has no air intake so it cannot dispense continuously unless it is periodically opened to allow air back into the container. It is nice and slim, though the opening being kinda small makes it hard to mix orange juice concentrate because the opening is smaller than the can.
