Don’t buy. The handdrill is poor quality, mine fell apart. And the piercings are way larger than pictured. So they’re too big for most nails but more importantly they are bigger than the handdrill so I can’t even fit mine in. Also some are shaped so they are impossible to twist off the end to open them. Poor design for this purpose, do not buy for nails.

I bought this item as opposed to the cheaper (drill-less) options because I was under the impression from the product photos, the product title, and the reviews that it would come with a hand drill. It did not. I’ll figure it out somehow?

Took off one star because the pictures depicted the jewelry as smaller, which is false marketing. That being said, I read the reviews beforehand so I knew the jewelry would be reasonably sized, which I preferred anyway. It DID come with the hand drill (despite other reviewers’ reports that it didn’t). Hand drill was perfect for creating the initial hole in the nail. I wiggled a pair of tweezers in the hole to enlarge it enough to fit the jewelry. From woodworking I’ve learned that, when drilling, it is good practice to start by creating a small hole, then slowly upsizing—so it’s actually understandable that the hand drill is too small. That being said, they *should have* ideally included a second, larger hand drill to use after drilling with the small one. Took off one star for that.

These charms are bigger than I thought they would be. They don't hug your nails, but rather hang loosely. Also, they are very difficult to close.
