This thing is screaming fast. I’ve almost sent it down a storm drain because it was going so fast. My only disappointments are, the wheels are non standard so if you want paddle wheels go to a RC shop. The batteries use the ic2 connection but they don’t tell people that is the same as the ec2 connection. Just without the smart features. I love the car though. I’ve sent this thing flying and it only has a few minor scratches. So it’s very durable. I would stay clear of deep sand even with the paddles. It struggles and I don’t think the motor likes it much. But I would highly recommend.

For an out of the box little ripper, this thing is FAST. The suspension is plush and the tires are just enough to break free on the highest power setting while still gripping. It can spin out without flipping on pavement and its very responsive. On grass, well at least 3.5" grass, this thing is gonna struggle for traction. Its a blast, the size I would say is fun but not super small. I haven't owned an RC in over 20 years and this is much funner than the team associated gas truggy I had back then.

When it works, it’s fantastic. Unfortunately, thats pretty uncommon. It goes into limp mode randomly, even in ideal cool clean temperatures. Sometimes you get one solid rip up the road , but once you let off the throttle it immediately limp modes. Rarely, you get a full battery use with zero problems. There seems to be no rhyme or reason - batteries are always fully charged and the RC is clean. To get it out of limp mode you have to unplug the battery and put it back in. This is also an issue, as driving on the lightest dust makes the body clips nearly impossible to use.

I got the RC car for my boyfriend who races these cars and competition this car straight out of the box stock was faster than any of the modified cars five stars if I could give you 10 stars, I would great purchase, especially for anybody into RC cars for racing

Build quality: The quality is very nice, the body is reenforced with an inner cage, the beating that this car takes is impressive, I would definitely recommend this car. It's a blast to run and I have done speed runs and I got 52 mph on the gps. Get it you will have a blast

Really fun mid-size RC. Fast, and fun to drift. Not a lot of clearance for larger gravel and certainly not for rocks. Steering servo saver is the big weak point. First one broke in less than 10 minutes of first use without hitting anything. Second broke while driving gravel road. Part has been on backorder regularly so replacements aren't cheap or easy to get. Included charger also doesn't work with the optional 3S battery. Again, the adapter for the IC2 battery connector to IC3 charger is on backorder and pretty much impossible to get or you'll pay 2x-4x msrp to get one (if you can even find one). I've had one on order for the last 6 weeks and still waiting with no ETA. Tires wear pretty quickly, as it does spin all four tires easily pretty much all the time. Fortunately replacements are cheap (when you don't care about color - many colors on backorder for the next 4-6 months). Finally, a lot of slop developed in the front end after not a lot of use or abuse. Wheel hubs seem to be my current issue, but play in all of the control arms and steering linkages. Price has jumped almost twenty percent over the last month, even before tariffs hit, so not sure I would buy again if over $240.

I honestly bought this for the color and to have a basher to have some fast rc fun with friends! 2s was fun but 3s is definitely where this thing shines. With the Mojave body it does hold in a lot more heat so I highly recommend upgrading the fan if you plan to run 3s and maybe like of making some air relief holes to help flow air through the body as it runs.
