so the 4s arrives gonna reprogram the recvr for my DX3 trans okay the cover for recvr easy to get to 3screws th 4th i under the on/off button oh there is a screw for that simple enough??? NO the screw is stripped and i didnt even strip it why is your assembly dept. so bad?? my 6s had 2 stripped out scews why?? so now i am stuck with this not happy i dont even want to drive it boxed it back up put it on the shelf i actually ran it with a 4s battery today a full run this dude is very fun and fast it will wheelie and just about flip itself it is alot of fun ... show more

This is an awesome rc car. Way more power than I expected causing me to crash it into a curb and breaking a steering arm. I was able to get the part in days and soon had it on the road again. Got to play with the fam till I tossed a 4S battery in there. Pretty sure it's just a sheared pin, but still haven't had time to look. So in all, I really like this car. I should have driven my cheaper ones more first. It seems inevitable that your car will break eventually, at least I can see the parts, unlike my smaller scale cars. ... show more

    • Broken parts galore

First two days the wing, center driveshaft, and chassis all broke. Driveshaft is poor design and was cut in half by a small pebble caught between the shaft and motor. Wing snapped on the first cartwheel the truck took. Chassis had a hole punched through the bottom while driving, not jumping. For over $400 none of these issues should occur within two days. It also lost a clip and pin cause a front driveshaft to fall from its housing. That happened the first ten minutes. Imagine getting a brand new $400 rc and within 10 minutes it's broken. My experience with my purchase obviously varies w others. When my truck arrived, everything looked great until a little closer look after removing it from the box. The rear CVD outdrive was missing the set screw and came apart. I contacted ARRMA but it took a few days for them to respond. I decided to return it after going back and forth w ARRMA, sending them pics and my receipt. ARRMA was fantastic sending me set screws and replacement parts but they arrived even after I received a replacement from Amazon. Anyone purchasing this truck should also buy a dust cover BEFORE driving it off road. I drove the truck ONCE on a baseball field and the little pebbles/debris chewed up the plastic center drive shaft and rear CVD outdrives. I purchased replacement parts from a 3rd party (JennysRC) bc ARRMA was out of stock. Likely bc many people were experiencing the same issue? The truck also needs rear "mud/rock" guards from the factory as it will help w the debris from getting into the chassis and chewing up the plastic parts mentioned. I bought a pair of RPM mudguards and had to do a little modification to get them to fit (See pics) ONCE these issues are addressed by ARRMA at factory or providing available upgraded parts and mud guards for the 4s V2, let the fun begin. I added these to my truck and its been flawless but eventually will be upgrading the plastic CVDs to aluminum. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the Kraton 6s V5 or Notorious 6s V5 for 80 bucks more bc of the aluminum upgrades. Hope this helps w your purchase! ... show more
