This RC truggie Is a blast. It's a 4s beast. This thing is so fast on 4s that can't keep the front wheels on the ground. I have been putting off buying this beast that I wished I had ordered one sooner. If you are into RC bashing this the one you want to buy.

Well, I’m a racer not a basher. Typically I used “retired” racing platforms as back yard banging and bashing platforms. I decided to try this Arrma Kraton 4S to see how it would compare to what I have been backyards tearing “up” with which is either my retired TLR8TE and a retired SCTE 3.0. This arrma was sort of fun although really sloppy suspension and steering. I had decided that I would put a better servo in and a better servo saver or aluminum arm. I didn’t have a chance to as on my second set of batteries the wing and wing mount shattered, and then on the third I bent a front hinge pin in almost an “L” while ripping itself free of the chassis. Soooooo, ive ordered a new chassis, new front hinge pin aluminum brace new wing and mount and RPM arms. I continued driving and jumping my 2 retired race trucks without them having any issues despite giving them “whut fer”. I now know that I have been making the correct choice avoiding these vehicles made for jumping and bashing. My daughter’s tenacity to pro rtr is significantly more durable and drives much much better. I guess the thing missing is doing flips on jumps… oh well, I’m already over it. This RC is so good! I don't have the words to describe how impressive this rig is. Save up the money and buy one, period. I think it's worth a couple hundred more than what it cost.

This truck rips it advertised as a 1/10 but it's 1/8 all day long only con is the steering servo saver but it easy fix with the 25t fixed hot racing one

My experience with my purchase obviously varies w others. When my truck arrived, everything looked great until a little closer look after removing it from the box. The rear CVD outdrive was missing the set screw and came apart. I contacted ARRMA but it took a few days for them to respond. I decided to return it after going back and forth w ARRMA, sending them pics and my receipt. ARRMA was fantastic sending me set screws and replacement parts but they arrived even after I received a replacement from Amazon. Anyone purchasing this truck should also buy a dust cover BEFORE driving it off road. I drove the truck ONCE on a baseball field and the little pebbles/debris chewed up the plastic center drive shaft and rear CVD outdrives. I purchased replacement parts from a 3rd party (JennysRC) bc ARRMA was out of stock. Likely bc many people were experiencing the same issue? The truck also needs rear "mud/rock" guards from the factory as it will help w the debris from getting into the chassis and chewing up the plastic parts mentioned. I bought a pair of RPM mudguards and had to do a little modification to get them to fit (See pics) ONCE these issues are addressed by ARRMA at factory or providing available upgraded parts and mud guards for the 4s V2, let the fun begin. I added these to my truck and its been flawless but eventually will be upgrading the plastic CVDs to aluminum. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the Kraton 6s V5 or Notorious 6s V5 for 80 bucks more bc of the aluminum upgrades. Hope this helps w your purchase! ... show more
