  • Best 3S basher
Color: Gun Metal
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something that sits right between a monster truck and a stadium truck, and this thing nails it. I’m a big fan. It’s tougher than I expected — the composite held up after smacking a tree at around 20–30 mph, which honestly surprised me. On 3S it’s quick for its size, and I get about 10 minutes of hard driving out of a 5200mAh pack when I’m driving it hard. The video shows the unboxing and then real action on dirt and pavement, and it flat-out moves. In some shots it’s running as fast as traffic in the background. It jumps well, lands fine, and just feels solid. The body looks good and it’s thick — not flimsy at all. The clip-less body system is awesome and super convenient. It did get a little stiff after a lot of use, but I still prefer it way more than body clips. Stock tires are grippy, but fair warning: the front tires will explode if you’re heavy on the throttle. Mine blew before the third 3S pack. I replaced them with Pro-Line Trencher HPs, and being belted, they’ve been holding up great. They work awesome on the front, and for most of the video that’s what’s running up front. You can see them clearly in the full-stop tire-to-lens shot in the video. Durability has been great overall. I’ve got around 30 3S packs through it with no broken parts — just lots of scratches, dings, dents, gouges, and battle scars. Front and rear have sacrificial skid plates and bumpers, which is a smart design. They’re sold as a front and rear set for around $10–15, so cheap and easy to replace. Parts support is solid. Stock parts are reasonably priced, upgrades are reasonable too, and my local shop keeps parts in stock. There are tons of upgrades available, including 3D-printable ones. The truck itself is priced fairly for what you get. The only real downside for me is the steering being a bit loose. I don’t use the Spektrum built-in DSC (Digital Stability Control). This comment is based on running it without any electronic assist — I haven’t even tried DSC because I like a more direct feel. That said, if you put the truck on a stand, hold one front wheel still, and move the other with the steering, you’ll feel the play immediately. I took it apart and was able to isolate it to the bellcrank-to-hub link screw and nut. I’m planning to shim it to see if that takes the slack out, which it should. Overall, I’d buy it again without hesitation. It’s fast, tough, well-supported, and takes abuse without falling apart. Definitely a high-quality machine. ... show more

Excellent truck. It's faster and has been more durable than the Gorgon! Lots of fun for my son.

  • Broke on First Run… Really Disappointed
Color: Gun Metal
I bought the Arrma Granite expecting a durable, fun RC basher, but it completely failed on the very first drive. One of the front steering blocks snapped after just a couple minutes, and the driveshaft yoke popped out and got severely damaged before I was even halfway through my first battery. This was just tumbling on grass—not concrete, not rocks. The whole front wheel assembly came apart, I lost all steering, and the truck became unusable in under one pack. For a $300+ brand-new truck, that’s unacceptable. I expected something that could handle basic off-road driving and a few moderate crashes. Instead, it broke almost instantly. Based on my experience, the steering blocks and hubs appear to be weak points that don’t hold up to even light bashing. If you plan on doing any real bashing (dirt, rocks, flips, grass), this is not the truck you want out of the box. Unless you’re ready to constantly replace parts or upgrade immediately, you’ll probably be disappointed. The Granite is advertised as a “tough” basher, but my experience says otherwise. ... show more

Nice truck. Fast. Little problem with motor out of the box, but customer service took great care of it.

  • Great RC off road truck.
Color: Gun Metal
OK everybody if you want a 10 scale RC truck that just rips. This is the one can't keep the front wheels on the ground as its Fast as heck. Built very well I Highly recommend this truck. We love it. Aram, you did it again.

  • Roll over

This truck is powerful but it rolls anytime you make the slightest turn.

  • Arrma tough.
Color: Blue
Don't let the other reviews ruin this truck for you. It's a granite, with a center diff. It's plenty fast and backflips super easy. The esc is a 2 in 1 yes, but speed runs with a granite is going to lvc and overheat a monster truck. It's not for speed, it's for bashing. Arrma tough, get one and bash. Edit. List of parts you'll need to maintain this rc. Diff boost box, new esc and motor. New tires. That alone will cost you 300 bucks. Its a tough truck yes, but they made the drivetrain really bad. ... show more
