My Fury absolutely kills. It's unbelievably durable, for instance. I once crashed it something like 50 feet, cartwheels, bouncing off the ground, it didn't phase this beast. It's fast too. And it's fun as hell to control, 2WD is crazy in the dirt, for instance. It takes careful remote work to have this thing turn well on dirt, and the learning curve is super fun. I never thought I'd love a 2WD truck, but I'm all in given this truck. I'm used to a Notorious 6S and Big Rock 3S, and this provides a very fun alternative. My dog is scared of the other trucks, but loves to chase this one, which makes it a great outing every time. Highly recommend this truck, especially given that it's under $300. ... show more

fast, fun, ruins tires!!!! the tires that it comes with are great for steering, awful for the rearend, they will explode in about a week of driving it the way it was designed to be driven. i have ruined 2 sets of tires. i am using my gorgons tires and wheels in the right now, it has a real bad tendency to catch air. its a wheely to land on its roof machine even after slowly increasing speed up to about thirty and then pegging the throttle it wheelies and then on its roof. its a blast to drive. i bought a 50c 3s smart g2 pack 11.1 volt, it does the trick(im gonna get more) its got a 4000 kv motor and brushless coolant fan, make sure to brush the muck off the motor, if you dont it wont cool and the thermal protection kicks in and you will get like 5 or so mph out of it until it cools down ... show more

This rc is very well built with a nice extended chassis for stability handles great with the stability control jumps decent the body could definitely be reinforced better also you will need to take a Dremel to the rear fenders to prevent rub not sure why arrma didn't address this in r&d but overall nice sct ... show more

I do not want a refund, Amazon credit, or another Arrma Fury. The Arrma Fury I received was clearly used, unsafe, and defective. When I installed the battery, it overheated, smoked, and started melting. Before that, the steering response was also not right — the left/right response felt poor and unreliable compared to other RC cars I own. Because of this safety issue and poor performance, I do not trust receiving the same model again. I am asking Amazon to replace it with a different brand or different RC car model within a reasonable comparable price range. Also, I should not be expected to drop off or ship a product that overheated, smoked, and melted. If Amazon requires the item back, Amazon needs to arrange a safe pickup from my location and provide proper instructions for handling a potentially hazardous electrical item. I can provide the pickup location once this is escalated. Please escalate this to a supervisor who can approve a different RC car replacement and arrange safe handling of the defective item. This should be treated as a product safety issue, not a normal return. I was upset with Amazon and their employees just blatantly miss informed me which I was looking forward to and promise where made ... show more

Great purchase. Hours of fun . Strong and dependable parts. The steering servo is still the weakest point on these arrma vehicles. But easily fixed. Was very impressed with the speed of the vehicle. The top speed I've reached on mine is 49mph. I've also got the 223s 2wd vorteks which is the same chassis just a bit shorter wheel base. 52mph so far. Both running on 3s 5000c spektrum lipo. Tires don't stand a chance on pavement. Definitely a dirt track truck. But loads of fun either way. No issues with electronics like some have noted. ... show more

This RC car has a clean, simple design with a sturdy chassis and suspension. The 4000 kV motor delivers impressive speed, and battery life is solid when using quality 3S 11.1 V 5500 mAh packs, as I did. Key issue: The factory-installed steering servo is rated for about 7 kg of torque and draws up to 3 amps from the internal BEC within the 45 A ESC. Unfortunately, this servo is underpowered for the vehicle’s demands. It tends to overwork and fail quickly, especially on grass, uneven terrain, or even when turning sharply from a standstill on flat surfaces. Upgrading challenges: Replacing the servo with a stronger model isn’t straightforward because the factory ESC’s internal BEC is designed only to support the weak servo’s current. Attempting to install a higher-torque servo causes the internal BEC to overheat and fail. After the servo burned out on day two of light use, I found the 45 A ESC itself became unreliable and prone to glitches. My solution: I invested over $300 in upgrades, including a Spektrum 85 A ESC, a 3300 kV motor, and a 35 kg torque servo powered by an external 8 A BEC. I also upgraded to an SLT2 transmitter/receiver combo for improved control precision. To protect components, I added fuses (70 A for the ESC and 7.5 A for the BEC) and breathable mesh over cooling fans to prevent debris ingress. Result: After these upgrades, the car performs reliably and meets the expectations of its design. However, these improvements highlight that the stock configuration isn’t sufficient for serious use. Conclusion: If you’re considering this RC car, be prepared to invest time and money into upgrading the electronics and servo for reliable performance. While the base design has potential, the factory components limit its capability. There are better options available that offer stronger, more durable setups right out of the box. So I’d say little value for the money you’ve paid, only to have to pay nearly the same for upgrades. ... show more

Very cool. I have many rc's and this rocks. Actually bought it for my wife. We take it too the mall parking lot cause she needs the big space. She's Probably going to only drive it a few times a year like her other rigs I got her. Okay first off, 36 pitch gears which is good. Secondly it's more like 1/8 scale so it's decently big.
