I wanted something to wear after I worked out. I also wanted something comfortable yet nice enough for the grocery store, brunch, or a casual walk with a friend. This top is perfect for both needs. It is looser (not fitted) yet not oversized. It can be layered with a long sleeve underneath, paired with a jacket, or worn alone. I wouldn’t wear this top to workout because I sweat a lot. I need a dry fit shirt and this top is too thick (for my needs) and not the right material (again, for my needs). I already washed the top once. It did not shrink and the color did not fade. Please note, after reading some of the other reviews about color fading and shrinking, I made sure to not dry it using high heat. I also washed it using cold water. In terms of a crop top I didn’t want something super choppy because I usually do not show my stomach unless I am at the beach or pool. Therefore, this top, should I want to show a little skin, is perfect for my day to day in that the hem sits an inch below my ribs. *(For context I’m wearing mid-rise pants.)* For context, I have long legs and a short torso. I really like this top. Just arrived and haven’t worn it to the gym yet but the material is soft, airy, great color, lightweight and not see thru. It comes up high and has a great fit at the waist. The armhole cuts are awkward. I am medium busted and have thin arms and it hangs forward below the arms? I’ll have to pin each side for this to work. I think it’s worth trying out for the price and everything else that is going for it. Everyone’s shape is different so it may work better for others. I imagine it would be a 5 for me, depending on performance at gym, if the cut was a little different. ... show more

I am 45" bust, 38" underbust, 41" natural waist (short waisted) 43" hips, wide hips. I got this because 8 wanted a crop workout top that was casual and semi masculine shaped while being soft and girlie. One person said their top was the softed they'd ever owned. Probably not the pink one, maybe each fabric is different among colors, idk. Mine was a bit stretchy, fit my bust alright with a bit of gap, waist is. But snug at my natural waist. Shoulders have great room for movement for weight lifting and it has decent chest overage, which is chest for em, I have fallen out of bras before. I love the shape and at my current size is a bit fidgety. It looks great with a darker pink jogger or raspberry jogger and white shoes (I only wear them indoors in my home gym, we have red dirt around here). Overall, I haven't chosen to wear rit that often, but I think I will once my waist strinks a tad. I also love the shape. The fabric is. But heavy, tho, so as a Sewist, I can use the shape on diy projects. Would buy other colors when I get a tad smaller, I love a bit of middrift working out at home especially. I wear this all the time, it's nice and thick cotton material and the shape is perfect. It shows my figure without looking too revealing, just flattering. Please note these fit small, or rather they are quite cropped… I usually wear a women’s small, but I buy a medium in this and is just above my belly button. I also have a couple of these shirts in large… That way it fits more like a normal length shirt hitting the waistband of my jeans, but it still Nice and roomy. The band around the bottom is still quite tight even on the large. Definitely go one size up, and like I said if you want a longer shirt and not so cropped go two sizes up. ... show more
