Got this to run cooling on my Castle 1412 3200kv and it fits like a glove and keeps it nice and cool. I run the castle on 4s, which is the maximum voltage it's rated for and this cooling system does the trick. The fans make some noise, but it's worth it you can feel how much air they're pushing when they're on. ... show more

Snapped right on to the motor on my 1/10 Lasernut. Super loud but I don't mind that one bit because it works great and keeps the motor cool. I will turn the car on, let the fans run for a minute or two, and the motor is almost cold. These fans work great and I'll likely buy the 1/8 version for my Mojave ... show more

    • Magnet in rc motor causes one fan to shut off.

One fan will not work when installed. The magnet in the motor causes the fan to shut off. I took it off and everytime i placed it down, it would shut off. I flipped it upside down, which isn't ideal but creats enough space to allow the fan to function. Other than that, they do well at keeping the motor cooler. ... show more

I had to remove material to get this to fit in an Arrma Senton 3S. There isn't much aluminum compared to the stock heatsink - probably 1/3 as much. The fans move a lot of air but because of the much smaller heatsink it seems to be less effective overall. Not a good/easy install.
