Using in my tt02 64/26 gearing. Slight cog from dead stop. Temps run a little warm with long run time. To be expected at this price!

Motor works good for the money, but I had to cut the old connectors off the original motor on my Traxxas Slash and splice the onto this motor. The connectors were different sizes.

    • Decent F540 variant
I have purchased quite a few F540 motors for older vintage 1/10 scale buggies as they generally provide very good performance for the price and good options for lighter vehicles, powered with a 2S lipo. This comes packaged in a rebranded Surpass box - which is not a bad thing. The box protects the motor well and a clip-on heatsink for a 540 motor is included. I have not found this necessary when the motor is geared properly. Power with the analyzer was pretty good - about 3690kV and 26905 RPM at 7.3V / 2.3A. That is better than average for these type of motors on Amazon and RPM would increase with a fully charged Lipo. Based on the above, if this is ever around $20-$22, it is a good buy if you intend to run 2S and have a lighter vehicle. I cannot stress that while it is often mentioned in the description, do not run these on 3S. If you want to do that, but a standard 540 brushless 4 pole motor. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow! Turned my redcat drift into absolute tire eater! Running 2200mah 3S with no issues,paired with a dynamite fuze esc. I beat on it so I got fancy and ordered 1.9 rock crawler beadlock rims and now I just tire change about every 3rd bash sesh. No issues with motor. Quality made, true silicone wires with nice connectors as advertised! Imo better than other cheaper motors I’ve tried.
