This motor is considerably faster than stock. Very pleased with the performance. The stock esc seems to handle it just fine. The transmission is very nice. It is slightly louder than stock but that's to be expected due to all metal gears. Double check your pinion and spur gear mesh and you should be golden. A little grease will help with the noise.

I didn't have any problems. Mounted just fine and runs just fine. It is a hair faster than stock with more torque so that's nice. I opened it and greased everything and tighten the screws and it didn't seem to affect it as some have had problems in the past with clearances.

Ran this set up for about a month, not terribly noisy at first, but louder than stock which is expected,when I installed, I have to trim the aluminum trans cover, wasn’t horrible because I had the tools and time to trim it up (10min) got it to fit with the correct clearance as was good to go from there. I’ve beat the trans from time to time, heavy set ups, and took it through deep mud/ clay, did fine, cleaned it out, and then for the past 3 weeks have only been on dirt, very very little mud (not enough to go past the diff covers) and other RC courses, I noticed the gears getting louder very gradually, then it’d start to get hiccups, kinda stutter as if slow crawl (due to teeth breaking). Then it full stripped and no longer works. If you have a light rig, slow crawling, not mashing the accelerator at 100%, the drivetrain should last, everything worked great till it didn’t. Big motor and metal gear transmission. Huge power. Probably 50%-100% faster and has much much more starting torque than stock, almost causing wheelies. Bolted into stock skid plate no problem. Used in an injora sxc24 buggy chassis. Not sure if large motor would clear stock frame, and motor will hit links if you like to run squatted. The main gear bearing are not very good and cause wobble and gear mesh noises. A simple swap with stock axel bearings worked great.

Check your gear mesh before you use it, you might burn through a pinion gear if its not set correctly. fortunately it comes with spares. Awesome motor and works great, fits the C10 with small mod to the battery tray leg. Edit: After some user I find it has a lot of noise and the gears in the transmission dont seem to mesh well either. After opening the transmission case and lubing everything up with the grease its all very smooth and quiet now. If you are experiencing noise with this transmission open it up and add some grease!
