    • GREAT mount
It's super easy to install (1st time is awkward but after you get the feel for it, it's no problem) NOTE: It does work as intended, however I noticed that my motor was a bit too strong and would tend to pull on the mount causing the boats plastic mount to be pulled up (I didn't like/trust that) so I drilled my own holes on the mount (choked it up by about 1" - 1.5") and now it doesn't pull at all :) ... show more

    • Well worth the money, but...
The motor mount is strong and sturdy, and it easily handles the weight my 55# Minn Kota trolling motor. I'd heard some people complain that it's hard to get the motor mount into the anchor points on the boat if the boat is inflated, but I didn't have any trouble. Granted, it's EASIER if the boat's not tightly inflated, but not impossible. However, the retaining nuts on the transom mount itself absolutely need locking washers, not just the flat washers it comes with... they unscrew way too easily. Also, the locking nuts for the boat mount anchors points are a pain to screw and unscrew each and every time you wanna install the motor mount. Leave those at home and get yourself four hitch pins instead... a lot easier, and I think more secure. ... show more

    • Great accessory
Finally got around to trying this motor mount. Fit perfectly on my Intex Excursion 4. Everything was included for assembly. The assembly itself is pretty straight forward. For securing to the boat/raft, it provides bolts with fastener nuts. Those work, but I think I will replace them with hitch pins for ease of use. Also, for my inflatable raft, it helps to inflate to almost completely inflated, then install the mount, then finish inflating after. It just helps. ... show more

    • Missing parts/horrible customer service
One nut was missing. I contacted intex. They asked me to fill out a missing parts report online with a copy of the receipt. I did that. No one got back to me. Finally I called and was told the report had incomplete requirements, but it was too late, as the warranty had expired. This is the worst customer service ever. Do not buy. You're better off throwing your money in the toilet. ... show more

Purchased this just days before an outing in a lake that prohibits gas engines. Mounted on an Intex Mariner4 inflatable. Easy assembly and install onto boat. Attached a Minn Kota trolling motor to it with no problems. The attachable transom was very stable at all 5 speeds of the motor used for several hours.
