Good quality as ARP is known for. For stock LS oil pans.

  • ARP dropped the ball
Fine for steel blocks, but not aluminum. I called ARP and checked their site. They don't have torque specs for this kit, but they do vaguely offer a generic torque spec for all bolts. I didnt even follow the OEM torque spec and stripped three threads. Granted, this was a dirty block that took forever to clean gunk out of the threads chasing them, I still think steel bolts on aluminum is a bad idea. ARP should come out and provide specs and probably state for ferrous blocks only. 14 lb/ft is what I successfully torqued the M8s to, but I recommend you avoid if aluminum block. ... show more
