I got this phone on refurb from seller Macalegin. They really know how to rate their phone condition, because I ordered "excellent" condition and that's what I got in the mail. Plus everything functions correctly and they even respond back to e-mails, because I wanted clarification whether I was going to get an unlocked phone with the sim card/expansion memory tray. They replied back the next day and said they physically checked that yes I'm getting the unlocked Samsung Galaxy phone with both tray slots. Macalegin also sends the correct 2.0 A Samsung fast charger and USB cable, unlike other vendors that send the cheaper after market charger/cable that doesn't do the fast charge. There seems to be some confusion on whether the Samsung Galaxy S20 works with Verizon's mvno (mobile virtual network operator) Visible. So let me provide some visibility to this unclarity. Sorry for the pun, I couldn't help it 😊 The US factory unlocked Samsung S20 has the designator SM-G981U1 and works on the big three: Verizon, ATT, and T-Mobile, as well as their mvnos. US carrier specific models will have the designator SM-G981U and you must verify with the vendor that they are indeed unlocked. Verizon has their own variant SM-G981V with less RAM 8GB, instead of the factory 12 GB, and the tray only has 1 sim card slot, compared to the factory model that has the sim card slot AND an expansion memory card slot. Markets outside of the US have the designator SM-G980, SM-G981B, and SM-G981F. Canada is SM-G981W, China is SM-G9810, and Korea is SM-G981N. These models may only operate on 4G LTE and have 8 GB RAM, depending on which one you get. The Galaxy S20's debut is March 2020, so keep in mind that this phone is getting a little long in the tooth technology wise. But it still does the basics well and is a rare beast in that it still has memory expansion if you take lots of pics or download huge pdf files. I installed the Visible sim card in the factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20 today, connected to wi/fi at McDonald's (thanks McDonalds free wi/fi), checked and installed updated software, opened the Visible app to activate the phone, and then restarted the phone. Everything works like a champ!! Two pics are included to show Visible locked onto the 5G signal without issue. Don't forget to call your voice mail and set that up also. Updates work good and Im currently on Android 13 OS. The only issue I noticed so far is that the voice mail icon that shows you have voicemail is missing in the top left corner, so you have to check your voicemail if you missed a call. Final thoughts: Make sure you get the correct phone sent to you, because there are different variants of this model that may or may not work with your cell provider. For me, this phone arrived looking brand-new, without any scuffs or visible damage. The phone was completely unlocked and also not a "UW" version. Nothing was broken, and the phone is awesome so far! One minor issue is that the phone did not come with a SIM removal tool like the Amazon description says it will. This phone is amazing, and especially for the low price tag of 300 dollars (discounted 700 dollars from the original retail price!). The seller who fulfilled my purchase was RenuDeals. Edit: The back panel appears to be not glued on securely, and is ever so slightly coming off on one side. I might have to look into how to fix that. Update: After using this device for over a year, I can say that this was and still is a very good deal, especially with the price decreasing a further 100 dollars from when I bought it a year ago. But with renewed devices, there are some flaws. As mentioned in the edit above, the back panel does not seem to be glued on fully, but if you get a case that isn't an issue (which you should anyway, considering the phone is entirely made of glass). The camera is blurry which I think is due to the slightly noticeable smudge on the inside of the glass covering the cameras. Besides these two issues though, this is probably better than getting a cheap modern phone for the same price, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great phone. Another note, anyone who owns this device should definitely go into the settings app and turn on high motion smoothness in Settings -> Display -> Motion Smoothness. It's definitely worth the battery hit and for some reason not turned on by default. If you'd like to save battery you can always turn down the resolution to HD+ in Display -> Screen Resolution. I personally can't notice the difference between it and the higher resolutions.

I had to replace my s9+ after the speakers started going and I couldn't hear anyone on the phone anymore. I was skeptical at first when looking at refurbished phones but my pockets aren't heavy so I took a chance and I can honestly say that (so far) I'm very happy with this purchase and it even appears that there is a screen protector already installed on the phone which is a nice surprise. The packaging was good, there's not a visible scratch in sight on the phone. As far as this seller goes, they did a great job with this phone. So far I've only found a few faults with this phone compared to my s9+. 1. Flashlight is not at bright on this phone which I assume will also be a disadvantage while using the flash for pictures. 2. There's no power saving mode on this phone? Like at all? The s9+ had at least 2, I don't think I ever used it without the powersave mode on so im not sure how much I'm going to like the battery life on this one. Note, there is some kind of wifi power saver? However, I almost never use wifi so I don't think that's gonna solve my issue. 3. The length vs width of the screen is almost awkward. I feel like it should be a little wider but that may just be me missing the size of my s9+ lol. I almost regret not trying the s20 FE but I'm going to try my best to give this phone an honest shot. So far the seller has a 10/10 but the phone itself is a 6/10, maybe a 7/10 if I can take a clear picture of the moon 🌙 🤭 UPDATE: Okay, I've had the phone for a week or two now so I decided to come back and address my previous concerns. The battery life on this phone is amazing even without a powersave option. I have no complaints about that at all. The flashlight strength is still on the dim side for me but I'm getting used to it. I have not looked to see how it affects flash in pictures though. I have gotten used to the different size of the screen and I think I will be just fine. Overall I'm very satisfied with the phone. I would have to say it is a solid 8.5/10 compared to my S9+. The seller sits at a 10/10 as I have not found any defects with the phone yet!

After I bought the phone, I saw that the company I purchased from didn't have very many good reviews, so I was skeptical. However, my phone arrived as promised! It was unlocked, it works seamlessly, and had only minor scuffs on the corners. The glass is perfect. No burns, cuts, or breaks. The phone quality is phenomenal. Just like I bought a new one! Definitely would buy another one if I ever needed it!!! My only complaint is that it's quite a bit smaller than I anticipated, but that's something I'll get used to over time!

My seller is amazing! My seller is Sooner Soft LLC. The phone itself is in absolutely beautiful condition. No scratches or dents. It works exactly as the seller described. My seller was always tentative and prompt. I messaged them a few times about the phone because it was my first unlocked phone. They helped and guided through the process. At one point they were willing to trade the phone in for a different phone in the same condition because I personally didn't like the boot up splash screen, but the phone was for my daughter and she did not mind. We have had the phone for about 2 months and it's still working amazing and flawless. I would definitely buy from Soonersoft again. They provided an amazing phone and changed my mind about always buying brand new phones.

Buy this phone if you want to go on a fool’s errand! This company has falsely advertised that the phone is unlocked. The phone is NOT UNLOCKED! While the physical phone I received was immaculate, it was locked to Sprint. I needed Verizon. I called Verizon. I called T-Mobile/Sprint. I called Amazon. I called the seller, ElectroWireless. After hours of trying to get this phone working, ElectroWireless told me I could do an exchange and they would “TRY to find me a Verizon-specific phone.” The “gotcha” is that the 90-day return window doesn’t restart. It keeps ticking from the date of the original purchase. NO THANKS. If you value your time and want to keep your sanity, don’t buy this phone unless you really want to play carrier-roulette!

Looks brand new and I'm pretty satisfied. Still testing it's battery life so I will update if I have any issues. Update: I've been using this phone for a few months and the battery life is better than expected. It lasts me hours even though I'm always using it. The only thing I don't really like about this phone is that it has no headphone jack. I always forget to charge my galaxy buds and I always lose them too so it's inconvenient. However it's nice not having wires that get caught on doorknobs. Thats really the only con I can think of. The camera is great, the display is beautiful and overall it's a good phone.

Buyer beware - this phone will say it is esim compatible and your carrier will think it's esim compatible as well. However, it seems Amazon refurbished previously locked phones, unlocking them, and then selling them. For some reason, the phones are not truly unlocked and will fail when downloading an esim at 88%. This could also be the fault of Samsung, I'm not entirely sure. After hours of chatting with customer support, it seems this has been a known issue for years with the phone that they don't really care about. Also the battery life isn't great after a year. Poor thing needs a usb-c like life support once a day. Good phone for the price though lol
