These are certainly beginner brushes. I had some loss of brush fibers when cleaning one after using it oil paint. Acrylic paint cleaned off nicely. If you’re doing more advanced painting where touch and stroke it important, these may not fit the bill. I can only gauge that on the surfaces I used it on (plain canvas, canvas treated with modge podge, painted canvas). I had some trouble getting a consistent load on the brush and paint was dispensed differently with similar strokes. These will work great for a beginner.

I bought these to paint some homemade ornaments and didn’t want to spend much money on them. They worked great for a weekend of painting homemade ornaments but they were thrown away after a couple of uses. The bristles are uneven and started to fall out after those couple of uses. If you need brushes for a kids project or just to use once or twice on a small project they work fine.
