I've been an Armor All user since I owned my first car going back some 40+ years now. I have used both the Original and also Shinny formulas and like them both. Armor all is the gold standard IMO. That said I do not use this product for anything other than very light cleaning. I use it for the protective qualities it has, and it excels in that area. I would purchase a pre-cleaning product to handle any serious dirt before using the protectant. Being an Armor All user for many years I made this purchase more for the value you get for the money. It's about the best deal out there. At least on Amazon.

Signing up as a subscriber for this product is the least expensive way to buy it. With the six-month option on the subscription you only have to buy 2 gallons a year to get this really low price. I found that if you dilute it with some water, say about 60% product and 40% water that it makes a great engine detailer. Starting with a clean detailed engine clean any dirt out with your armor all and when you’re all done spray your diluted solution in a light coat over the entire engine. Wipe up any overspray from your fenders and the engine heat the next time you drive the car will spread the dilution evenly over everything giving the entire engine bay a shiny glossy coat.

Why buy so much?- It doesn't spoil> You save a LOT $/ounce wise. I washed and coated the vinyl of my previous house and it looked SUPER and became pliable, not brittle feeling again; and am doing the same on out current interior garage (finished in vinyl). Also, the 'content per gram' of plastic is super low contrasted to buying four quart bottles, so between this and extending the life of vinyl, its environmentally sounder than letting vinyl get ugly/ structurally brittle and needing to be replaced.

I got Armor all since it is such a versatile product and I needed it for my car's exterior trim like the front splitter and some rubber panels that go around my car that started turning white after fading. Almost as if the water had some salt to it and it was making the plaster/rubber pieces turn hard. It immediately works and starts to bring back the original finish back but needs a repeat coat after a couple of weeks but that might be just my cars materials that are prone to fading. Great product that i can use around the house to coat anything thats close to plaster or rubber!

I love this stuff when I detail my car. Any plastics or vinyl on the car I spray with this and it always looks great. The reason I bought it in this size again is I’m powere washing my house which is vinyl siding. I also have the decorative shutters. Those oxidize every few years and get Paul. Put this stuff in a spray bottle, spray the shutter and see the original color come back. Wipe excess with a rag. Really good product. To save money, but it in the one gallon size, then get a six pack of spray bottles.

While many use this on a variety of plastics and rubber both on the interior and exterior of a car, I find that it doesn't last that long. With that in mind, I limit my use of Armor All Protectant to 2 or 3 sprays of each wheel well after I've cleaned the wheel wells with a brush. It gives the wheel well a darkened look, and because the wheel wells get dirty relatively quickly, I'm unconcerned about the longevity of the Armor All itself. Used in this way, Armor All provides a nice finishing touch after washing the car. If you want something longer lasting, I recommend: Exterior Optimum (OB2008Q) Opti-Bond Tire Gel - 32 oz. or Adam's VRT Tire & Trim Dressing 16oz Interior 303 (30313-CSR) UV Protectant Spray for Vinyl, Plastic, Rubber, Fiberglass, Leather & More - Dust and Dirt Repellant - Non-Toxic, Matte Finish, 32 Fl. oz. You can actually use all of them for both interior and exterior plastics, rubber, and vinyl. The trade-off that you need to decide for yourself then becomes one of longevity vs cost effectiveness.

I am tired of spending $5 all the time on a 16oz bottle of Amor all. So picking this bad boy up for $13, was well worth the buy. It was easy to open and easy to pour into my 16oz. spray bottle of Amor All that I just emptied. I feel it's well worth the money and savings going this route for Amor All.
