I would say it’s lasts about 2-3 months depending on weather and how much you wash your car. The first time applying, I needed to apply about 3 coats. I bought Car Guys Professional Detail Plastic Restorer and didn’t even bother with prep work—no wash, no cleaning. I just applied it straight onto my faded trim, front bumper, and rear bumper. The results were incredible. The black plastic instantly came back to life and looked like it just rolled off the lot. The product is a bit greasy, so I definitely recommend wearing gloves when applying it. But it spreads easily and gives an even, rich finish that makes a huge difference. Plain and simple it works well for interior plastic and leather. Nice smell easy application without any residue or leaving your seats slick. HOWEVER as for the exterior plastic parts it’s not worth spit at all. Bumper plastic mirror plastic and other trim parts it did not even phase Quite honestly baby oil made the exterior parts look way better than this stuff. That’s why I give it 2 stars. It’s a good interior product but not for exterior use at all UPDATE. As of 6-4-2025 I have been offered a full refund and have accepted. So even though the product failed customer service is wonderful. So I will give four stars.

My Jeep's bumpers had lost the black color on them. Put this on the bumpers and they look brand new. Have tried other brands and none worked as well as this product did. It was also easy to put on!

This is amazing. Its been sitting on the shelf so long and I ended up using it because I couldn't find the other plastic shine I usually use. I regret not using this earlier. Most of my faded plastic parts on my car are now black again and resist water so well. Very durable. It's been over 2 weeks now and its still looking good as if I just put it on. Just a little bit goes a long way. Highly recommend.

I’ve used this for a few years on an f150. It does its job and is durable. Never had to remove it and any excess you can just wipe off. Could use a wetter substance. The cream is a bit heavy for the distribution from the bottle. I always have to shake it upside down. It squirts at times and can get too much after shaking it. You need to develop the technique. A watery consistency would be easier if it could work. After discussing it with the Car Guys team, they take it seriously and are professional. Hope they can up the ante. Really doesn’t shine and that’s fine. I just like the black restored. Holds up well on rear view mirrors but not as long on top of rear bumper. That’s understood because that gets a lot more beating.

Wish I could give it even more stars ! This is one of the most amazizng products I have ever used. And one of the easiest to use. My 2015 Toyota Camry trim between the 2 doors was so dull . One coat of this plastic restorer has worked miracles. It looks wonderful now. And you just have to rub a small amount onto the provided sponge, wait at least 10 minutes, then wipe it off with clean sponge. Could not be easier or make more of a positive impact. I highly recommend this product
