Being a nurse for many decades, I've worn this type of waterproof watch for All of it, and though I'm retired, I still enjoy knowing the time And date whenever it's needed. It's comfortable, durable, fashionable and affordable. Armitron is a good company that makes their watches last, through showers, dishwashing, carwashing and whatever else life throws at you. I don't baby it, I also like that you have a choice between regular & military time-which I had to learn for my job many years ago. I purchased this watch in the middle of a summer camp season in 2022 after my 15-year-old Timex sports watch (Yes, 15 years old—so old that the model is no longer made) finally gave up the ghost. With its predecessor having survived everything from water to mud to bicycle crashes, I had high expectations for this one. So far everything is going well. The watch does have a 24 hour mode, which is essential for me, as well as an alarm, water resistance, and an attractive gold-coloured face plate. It has survived everything I have thrown at it so far, from waterskiing to 100-degree heat, to washing dishes in a commercial kitchen. Armitron got all the most important stuff right even in a shrinking market; the reason I did not give this a 5 star review was that this watch does have a few odd quirks that I have detailed below Pros: Excellent price Reasonably stylish Small, compact and light weight Water resistant (this does not mean fully waterproof; do NOT press the buttons underwater) 24 hour time and a serviceable backlight Shows no signs of wear even after 4 months heavy use. Cons: Display lacks some contrast compared to my old Timex While it allows you to set the year in its date readout, it does not do daylight savings time automatically—somewhat puzzling because I thought that was the point of setting the year. Cannot figure out how to swap the T2 auxiliary time zone into my primary time zone No count-down timer While the faceplate is gold, the band clip is silver. This is unimportant if you buy a silver one. The lettering on the front that reads “Armitron WR 330M” faded away within 4 days. Not quite as accurate as my old Timex—I lose about 1 minute per month, which is just ok Update, April 2, 2023: About 8 months later, and still going strong. The plastic watch face is proving to be more scratch resistant than my previous Timex, and I still feel that the watch is presentable outside of work. ... show more

I am an adult who has small wrists, this watch fits me without the face looking too big. It's durable, easy to use, and I love the "iridescent" color scheme. All that being said, because of my small wrists, I wish that there were two loops (instead of one) to secure the watch band. I use a small black rubberband as the second loop. It's very cute, functions well, and doesn't look too chunky on my wrist. Most sport watches look too big for me, like I'm a kid wearing dad's watch. Not this one. Also the instruction pamphlet that came with it was very detailed. I managed to reset the time after pressing the wrong button 6 times 😅

I love that it has the date on the front face and I don't have to push a button to see it. My last Armitron watch I had to push a button, which isn't a huge deal but when working in a medical field and having to write the date 100 times a day, it's just a little thing that is a nice perk about this one. I don't usually write product reviews, but I just received my third of these watches in 3 years (the battery on the first died within a year, but I had insured it so got a free replacement, which died when one of the buttons was inadvertently banged under water--just below the surface--and the numbers disappeared from the screen). I started buying these watches after several Timex Ironman watches separated from the strap and popped out--I wanted something where the watch was actually attached to the band, not just held on by glue and pressure. This watch fit the bill, plus it was a good size for my small wrist, and the navy band/silver face combo was attractive enough. Changing any of the settings isn't intuitive, but it comes with instructions. The reason I'm writing now is because the new watch, which arrives today, has a notably cheaper band than the first two. The first two felt like a silicone or rubbery band that could take a lot of bending and temperature changes. The new one feels stiff and plasticky, like a little girl's toy watch, and I'm already anticipating it cracking. Given the price, I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning it, but when this one dies its inevitable death I'll be back to looking for the elusive women's sports watch that won't self-destruct within 2-3 years. (And I'll update this post if time proves me wrong) ... show more

Watch worked great for about 3 months then died. Said it's water resistant but that is what broke the watch. Quit working once it was in water. Quality is great as long as it doesn't touch water.
