Not sure exactly what Armaf set out to imitate here (if anything), but this is an extreme performer that will last forever and turn some heads. The scent is familiar yet unique, nothing overly offensive but it is very very strong. Bright woody and deep floral notes hit you immediately, all complimented by a fresh albeit synthetic smelling vétiver note at the base. I want to say there’s some grapefruit in here as well, keeping things bright in the opening. Very masculine, clean, and almost soapy feeling. The projection is great out of this, and you could really stand out in a crowd. To me, this is best suited in a night out kind of setting, at a bar or club. I think it might be a bit too intense for an intimate setting, but at this price point, it’s no great risk to find out for yourself. I have to warn you though, this stuff is eternal. If over applied, you will be smelling like this for far too long. The stuff is nuclear, even on my skin that normally absorbs and eats fragrances up. I had a friend try this on, and he too had similar results and did not care for it whatsoever. I gave a bottle to my 20 year old brother, and even he came back and said it’s a bit overwhelming. I have applied this, and tried to smell other fragrances with this on - only to find I was COMPLETELY noseblind to them. In the right setting, I think this is a gem. But as an every day driver, I would strongly recommend something else. Honestly, I think the name Hunter truly fits this. If you’re on “the hunt”, and want something to stand out and make a statement - you found a winner for that specific category. Not the most refined or well blended fragrance in my collection, but well suited for its intended purpose! ... show more

Great design of the bottle, and a wonderful fragrance. The only thing I don't like about this is how heavy it sprays. But overall, it is an awesome cologne, smells great and stays on all day.

    • Poorly made cap
I bought this cologne years ago and loved it for years but the cap/nozzle is poorly made. It just got to a point where I threw the whole bottle away because it broke. Smells like a sexy forest lol I’d recommend leaving the cap off
