This case is very durable and my phone suffered absolutely no damage over the past several months I’ve used it. I travel a lot and drop my phone a lot due to clumsiness mixed with arthritis. This case has hit so many surfaces yet I learned early on I had nothing to worry about with a drop. The only draw back is the included plastic screen. It doesn’t fit tightly enough to prevent debris from getting between it and the phone screen. Also the screen material is very easily scratched which obscures the view of the screen. This is why I ultimately have bought another case and only give this 4 stars. Otherwise I would just keep using this one. I’ll probably continue to pull it out for travel and hiking excursions. Would be nice to have some more color options and a swiveling kickstand. The company originally sent me the wrong size case (their error not mine) and they promptly replaced it with the right one with no issues or arguments. ... show more

The case seems sturdy, and my iPhone 11Pro fits well. It's snug without seeming too tight. I think it will perform well against drops. The screen is still touch sensitive, and the screen cover fits well. However, I'll be looking for another case for these reasons: 1) It's heavy. Quite a bit heavier than my previous case. 2) It's too thick. Again, it seems quite a bit thicker than my previous case. I run, and I don't think this case is going to work well in my leggings pocket (and because of the weight). 3) This one isn't a deal breaker, but is slightly annoying - stuff seems to stick to the screen cover. That one is definitely nit picking, but I'm mentioning it in case it's an issue for others. 4) I was excited to buy from an American company, especially a start up based in Texas, but on the box, it says the case is designed in Texas, but made in China. I've been trying to buy American made products, and it seems like companies are doing everything they can to make it look like you're buy American made, but it's still coming from China. I was very disappointed when I saw that. All in all, this seems like a good case, especially for the money, but it's not going to work for me. I'll keep it as a back up as my other case is falling apart and I need something on my phone until I find a better case. If you don't care about size or weight of a phone case, or that it's made in China, this would be a good case for you. ... show more

I’ve used the case for about 2 yrs. Have dropped the phone many times without issue. I did remove the built in screen protector, though, because it impairs the appearance of the screen. It doesn’t actually adhere. Replaced it with a dollar store glass protector. Best case I’ve had. Not slippery. Even the raised bevel around the screen is rubberized and grips the table surface when the phone is facing screen-down. ... show more

It seems sturdy, so far..I've only had it a few weeks. The kickstand works well, but since it is made of plastic, I am going to be careful when using it.. especially when popping the support bar loose from its locked position while closing it. This case is a bit thick, but that is the price for more protection, so I am willing to live with that. The built in screen protector hasn't gotten any scratches from the rough skin on my fingers so far, and I haven't had too much trouble digging the tip of my finger into the edge of the screen every time I "turn the page". My fingers are average thickness, so people with people with thick fingers may have a bit more trouble than I do. The orange on grey color that I chose is perfect, because I often misplace my phone, and the orange makes it easier to locate. And the green color of the iPhone doesn't clash with the grey of the silicone edge, because the shade of green that Apple chose for my phone has a grey undertone in it. And the reflection of the plastic that surrounds the camera lenses makes it difficult to see how green the phone is. The lens area is the only place that the actual color of the iPhone can be seen. Minor irritations? Maybe that the edge of the opening for the vibration mode switch digs into the edge of my finger a bit, when I am using the phone horizontally- with the vibration switch facing downward. Also, when removing the case, it is a bit difficult to remove the front of the cover when prying in the slot that has been molded into the lower right edge. It twists so much that i am afraid that I am going to break the frame that surrounds the screen protector. I have only removed it a couple of times (with the screwdriver/ nail file of a Swiss Army Knife), but it made me nervous when I did it. So! Would I get another Armadillo case if this phone was stolen? Yes! Excellent value for $20.00 or so. ... show more
