Disappointed it is rendered almost useless....I have had other s series phones with cases that worked properly with edge panel. First of all, I was and may still be a Beetle user the next phone I use. The only reason I am not this time is because they had a design flaw and I had to send it back. Anyway, I ordered this case for a try and.....this case rocks as well! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the flip-stand on the back. I think the phone leans too far back when using the stand, so I normally still have to put something behind my phone to raise it up more when watching something. I received this case before I even received my pre-ordered samsung s21 plus. I was very skeptical when I received it. The old phrase you get what you pay for went through my head. I have always had otterbox and never had a problem even with a hard fall from about 8 feet. But it said military grade blah blah blah so figured its got to be decent. I put the phone in the case right away. Case felt comfortable and figured maybe it won't be to bad. Man was I wrong. I dropped the phone once from roughly 3-4 feet and all seemed fine. I went to take the case off to put a new screen protector on and noticed then back of my phone was shattered in the top corner. It also has spider webbing throughout the back. At this point I'm beyond mad cause my $1000 phone which is 1.5 months old is damaged. My last 4 phones were in otterboxes and looked almost new when I replaced them. I took the phone out again 3 days later and another spot is shattered and I never dropped it. Needless to say I don't recognize this case at all. Would give 0 stars if possible ... show more

What a nice surprise! A case that does not cost an arm and a leg. Very well built and strong. All the access holes are in the right place and the right size. The built in stand locks in place unlike others that seem to collapse at the worn time. The camera is well protected. And the front screen is protected with a raised edge. The side of the case has a rubber like feel that give you confidence to hold the phone. I also found that if you open the stand you can use it for easy one hand hold. I will purchase this brand case every time I upgrade my phones! ... show more

Since I don't have the phone, this is a first impressions of the case. Wonderful quality at a low price. TPU is thick with good grip on the sides. Kickstand is solid and easy to use which is great. I did "drop tests" with the case and no scuffs were made. Kickstand did pop out but no damage found. Really nice thing many may overlook is the rubber tips on the back of the case to add grip. Since the phones back is plastic, it should take flat back hits well. If it were glass, I would be more worried but since it's plastic, this case really is a tank of protection for your phone. Rather than that, solid case and if you read the cards and the letter, nice gesture and some proceeds goes to a good cause! ... show more

I have used these cases for a few past phones. My S20, bought a Supcase UB for it. Nice case, but, the back is slippery, and the side grips were lacking. Saw the ArmadilloTek, and the seemingly better side grips, so bought it to replace the UB. Not making a holster for this case is a shame for this type of case. The upside is, the UB holster fits the ATek case perfectly. SO - the ONE reason I bought this case for my S21+, was the great side grips that my S20 case had. Well, my ATek S21+ case does not have the same nice side grips. They are half the height of the S20's. I looked at pictures that were posted on this listing, and saw some that had good height side grips, but also some that had side grips like an almost bald tire. And that is what mine has. So, either the pictures are fooling me with the ones that look good, and there was a design / manufacturing change that reduced the height of the grips, hence not nearly as grippy, or, I got something that is not up to par for normal. Disappointed. UPDATE: Regarding holster - Still needed a holster for the ATek case, so ordered the S21+ Supcase UB case with holster, as the S20 UB version holster fit the S20 ATek case perfectly, as stated above. Well, not so much with the UB S21+ version. The S21+ UB holster has some added plastic triangle bumps in each inside corner, and also on the clamp, and the part opposite the clamp. It would fit, but would fall out if bumped, as the clamp could not fully overlap the case. Spent a couple days being pissy about holsters, then took another look at it. Started off with a file, made some progress, but could not get the corners. Grabbed my Dremel with a small grinder bit, and took down the tops of the plastic triangles. Voila! Fits great now, and locks in. Moral of the story? For anyone like me who has the ATek case (which I am keeping despite the bald tire feeling side grips, sigh) and can't live without a holster for it, the UB holster works great with a little work. For 40 bucks, you end up with 2 good cases, and a holster. My only issue with the UB case itself, is that the back of it is slick when one-handing the phone, and the ATek is not as slick for whatever reason, even though both are plastic. Guessing different textures that can't really be seen, but can be felt. ... show more

As a Realtor, I use my phone a lot and always seem to have my hands full. I feel very confident with this ArmadilloTek Vanguard case.
