Description

The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Home Dim to Warm LED Tape Light Kit is a perfect all-around solution for any kitchen, bedroom or living room installation. At full brightness, the LED strip light kit’s color temperature is Soft-Bright (3000K). When the LED kit is dimmer, the color temperature transitions to a Warm-White (1800K) glow. The lighting kit features an RF (Radio Frequency) remote that allows control of dimming and LED lighting effects. Control up to three kits with a single remote for larger, custom installations. Cannot be used with AC dimming switches.

Easy to install unless you need to run power to the power supply cord. I’ve bought and installed 6-7 of these light kits - 3 pantries (down each side of the door frame and along the top), in a bar cabinet, bookshelves, under cabinets in 3 locations - and I am obviously addicted. You’ll likely need a roll of 20g low voltage 2-strand wire to run between sections of the light strip and I recommend the “25 pack solder-less LED Tape Connectors” to make installation easiest. I Love the range of white tones and brightness for various moods. Note: This appears to be the exact same product HD sells under a different brand name for about $60. I bought these because the driver could be directly wired and ran through a smart dimmer. Did have to purchase additional wiring and connectors but was very easy to install and run wiring. Adhesive is strong and I have not had any issues with them coming off. Very professional look for a fraction of the cost. Only problem I can say I ran into which is probably true to all peel and stick is the adhesive is on the contacts where you have to cut. Had to clean up the adhesive to get a good connection for the connectors. But not a big deal. Would recommend. ... show more

This would have been a good light set if only they placed the cut lines at shorter distance from each other. Cut lines on this set are 20 inches apart which is almost impossible to work with. There is no mention of this in the product description. All I wanted to do was light up a dark audio cabinet so it could shine on some components that were hard to see. I needed about 12 inch segments for this. I spent so much time splicing and redesigning my lighting configuration to accommodate this poor product. Since it wasn't in the description I didn't even discover it until I opened the package and was halfway through the project, so too late to return and too much of a hassle at this point as I would have to break the audio system apart again to redo. To top it all off, after all that work, only the red and white colors work, probably because of all the joints and unexpected turns I had to make must have cut a circuit somewhere. With so many choices of light strips out there, I would not recommend this product. Very Frustrated!! ... show more
