I got this for my dad, he would often try to balance his plate on the arm of his recliner and the stand next to it. It always looked like he would knock his food off and make a big mess. I don’t remember how I came across this product but had to get it once I saw it. This is the perfect solution for someone who wants to eat while sitting in a recliner. The only real con is it is a smooth/slick surface so we use a rubber coaster for his drink to “hold” it in place.

I really like this couch/arm chair tray. I can finally place my stuff at the level of my arm and don't have to bend down to the end table. I was pleasantly surprised how gently the mechanism grabs the arm rests of leather chair yet tightly enough to hold a full cup of coffee steady. Amazing. No a spill. After reading reviews, I was concerned about there being a bad smell, so I only ordered one (I need two). The non-slip backing did have a slight smell, but it's almost gone after just a few days. It was well packaged (another concern from reviews). It fits snugly on the arm of our sofa, with no wobbling, and the size is perfect. I'll be ordering a second soon.

I like this tray as it saves me space but allows people on both ends of the couch a place to put their items. Be careful in placing tall drinks on it or any drinks in a high traffic area. It’s great for my coffee and phone in the morning. It looks nice and blends in with my furniture nicely. I would recommend it!

Nice quality item however it is a little smaller than I expected. I was hoping it would hold an average size dinner plate but it doesn’t. You can fit a small plate and a drink on it. Also it is not good for sofa arms that are rounded.
