I bought this litter when the kind I used was out since it was the same brand… never went back! I have a sifting litter box where you pour the litter into a sifter section and the clean litter filters down into another bin. The previous litter I used would stick to the box and I would sometimes have to hit it to loose. I would have to use paper towels to get remaining areas that stuck. Not this litter! The slide in the title is absolutely right. The litter clumps never stick to the bottom making this so much easier to clean. It also really grabs odors. I have had cats my whole life. I’ve used clay litter, crystal litter, instant clumping natural litter, pellets, etc.. the whole nine yards. Recently, due to my living situation, I have to have my litter box in my closet. It has been a pain for the past year to find a litter that completely controls the odor—until now! AND I have an air purifier in my closet but up until now it has barely mitigated odors. I’ll give a short summary comparing other litters and why I’ve been inclined to write this review! Crystal litter - great at controlling poop odor but terrible for urine (especially if you have a cat that pees a lot). 1 1/2 - 2” of litter is supposed to last 2 weeks, so an 8lb bag, theoretically, should last 2 months, no. Also, you have to shift the litter around for the urine to be evenly absorbed everyday when cleaning out the box. However, if you have a cat that pees a lot then the litter gets over saturated, sits at the bottom of the box, and smells wretched. Therefore, needing to be changed more often and that’s hella expensive. It was great when my cat was smaller though! Clay litter - personally, I hate the smell of any clay litter, so this take is biased. Ever Clean cat litter is great if you don’t mind the smell of clay litter. Instant clumping natural “fragrance free” litter - Amazing at clumping urine and controlling that odor. However, if your cat takes a fat dump then it’ll be the worst smelling scent you have ever smelled. It’s vile. I don’t know what they put in Sustainably Yours (or anything like it) but it is terrible at controlling odors, specifically poop. I promise you, avoid it. Also, it’s expensive as hell. Pellets - Honestly, overall pretty great and also really cheap. I just found it to be a hassle to clean up when the pellets dissolved into dust. Really affordable too. Ultimately, this cat litter right here has done everything it said it would. I have not smelt any odors from the litter box since the day I put it in. It’s easy to clean out and I’m really satisfied with it + the price is decent. One thing though, the clumping for urine is OK. It clumps well but is mushy, if that makes sense. I recently switched to Arm & Hammer SLIDE Platinum Multi-Cat Easy Clean-Up Clumping Cat Litter, and I must say, it's the best cat litter I have ever used. One of the biggest concerns I had with previous litters was the lingering odor of cat poop in my house, but this litter has completely changed the game. First and foremost, the clumping ability of this litter is outstanding. It quickly forms tight and solid clumps around my cats' waste, making it incredibly easy to scoop and dispose of. Not only does this make the litter box cleaning process much more convenient, but it also helps to keep the litter box fresh and odor-free. Speaking of odor control, I am thoroughly impressed with the 14 days of odor control promised by this litter. Unlike other litters I've tried in the past, this one actually lives up to its claim. This letter is long lasting. It clumps very well. It does not smell strongly of any scent that would offend the cat or the human. It is very easy to scoop up and does not stick to the side of the box for the most part. So far most litters track if they are a clay litter but this one does not do it as much. I have tried many cat litter brands. I love Arm and Hammer clump and seal, because dust does not fly around while you scoop, easier to scoop large clumps of urine, and no over powering smell. I have 6 cats and I reccomed this cat litter. Clump and seal does what it says
