Does what it says
Works really well. We had a power outage for a few days and frozen meat started to rot in the freezer. The baking soda removed the odor within a few days without it clinginf to any other food

Great Odor Eliminator!
I’ve always used Arm & Hammer 1 pound baking soda boxes in my refrigerator & freezer to eliminate the odors that generate. The boxes I’d used back then weren’t ideal but they did the job. The top would be cut off, removed & placed in the fridge. A few years ago I found these greatly designed Arm & Hammer Fridge-N-Freezer boxes. Each side of the box has a nice portion that is perforated & torn off. There is a piece of thin material that prevents baking soda from coming out of the box. This design is truly ideal. The entire box of baking soda is being utilized to remove odors from my refrigerator & freezer rather than what I used before which would be soda coming off the top. This design definitely works!! Since using these odors no longer exist in my refrigerator or freezer. It says to change the box every 30 days. I typically go 45-60 days a box. The freshness lingers I feel for more than 30 days. I then change the boxes for new ones. These boxes keep freshness generating while removing odors at the same time. The nice thing is if you tip one over there are no spills. Also-Baking soda can be used for many cleaning purposes. Rather than throwing the used box directly in the garbage I open the side of material & rinse the soda down my kitchen sink. A dual purpose. These are becoming hard to find in stores so I’m glad I found them on Amazon. The price for 6 boxes may cost more than what I’d normally pay but I love these & I don’t mind paying a little extra for them. I also take advantage of Amazon’s subscribe & save program so I save a little more & order at my convenience. I hope my pictures help to reflect what each side looks like. There’s a spot on the box to write in the date you put it in the refrigerator, which I like as it’s a nice reminder. There’s nothing I don’t love about these & highly recommend them!

Perfect amount for two refrigerators and a freezer
Wrapped in plastic to avoid baking soda getting on the rest of the order. 👍🏻 Perfect amount for our needs

Product great; Packaging not great
Boxes were not sealed tightly and baking soda leaked out inside cellophane packaging holding 6 boxes. Had to seal and clean up leakage. Amazon personnel should have observed this before shipping.

BEST PRODUCT for the FRIDGE & FREEZER
Sure it costs a bit more than the little boxes with the tabs ... BUT, you won't have to worry about baking soda sticking to your refrigerator shelves or freezer drawers.
