She gnawed it into a shank so I decided to try the alligator shape and she’s equally as excited for this one! Our puppy loves this. She has literally chewed through 13 toys in three weeks, and according to the vet she isn’t teething yet. Eeekkkkkkk. I was searching for a tough and durable toy yet a soft enough one that she wouldn’t injure her puppy vampire teeth. She has been at this toy like a cat with catnip. Some other reviews that caught my attention, were around dental hygiene and fresh breath. I have bought more of these than I am proud to admit for my two Aussies. They LOVE them. Problem is, they’re smaller than they appear on the listing, therefore I would say there are other options for aggressive chewers. The T-shape is very enjoyable for them. I do think they have kept my dogs teeth clean and breath smelling fresh! I have a 1.5 and 2.5 year old and the vet is always complimenting their dental hygiene! Given I have only given them Himalayan bones and the Nubbies, I would say this is a contributing factor to their awesome dental health. Overall, recommend for sure, just keep in mind for aggressive chewers you are lucky to get 2 weeks out of them. ... show more

My dogs love them, and they are constantly grabbing them to chew on. They really only chew the three ends this toy has. They do get a little pointy and sharp with enough chewing so I throw them away once I see that the toys is chewed up enough to potentially hurt their gums or if I see my dogs being able to take tiny piece from the tow.     • Deceptively Engaging/Pieces Came Off

It just looks like "a thing," but my dog loves it. She attacks it with gusto; a single-minded mission to destroy with her teeth. She can't get enough of it, and that was my first requirement. The second requirement was longevity. It is a very strong "thing." She’s been at it for a few weeks and it is just now beginning to show wear, as the video shows. There are definite teeth marks all around, and she's just 7 months old. In the video, she is recovering from spay surgery. I need things to keep her attention so she'll keep from trying to play, which could open her stitches. We've been fortunate in her healing, and this "thing" has been a useful diversion. So, I wholly recommend it as a recovery device. If it keeps being strong and durable, at least for a few months, I don't think I could ask for more than that. UPDATE MAY 28TH 2023 Yeah, I happened to see little blue pieces on the floor a bit too late and found some in her stool so I threw it out. Not sure of there's such a thing as a durable enough toy.
