I’d say it’s a great scope for the money, but it’s a great scope even if it was more expensive. I have it mounted on a .338 Lapua Magnum with no issues. Be careful not to lose the battery cap for the Illuminated optical, if you do Arken can supply you a new one.

I set this optic up on a new 6.5 bolt gun that I took to a 2 day long range class. There were multiple dudes running $2,000+ scopes and I had no trouble hitting the same targets at the same distances. Even at full magnification, engaging a 8 inch target at 1000 yrds the glass was I’d say a 7/10 clarity. Zero stop functions flawlessly and turrets are crisp and accurate. For 90% of people who are not going to devote their lives to shooting long range and are just getting their feet wet I’d say save the thousands and buy this. It is cheap enough (in the long range world) that it makes sense to get it, use it for a year and then make the jump to a Nightforce or something fancy later. You wont be losing any money as you will still have a damn good scope in your parts collection for another build. ... show more

Very pleased...only problem was that the eye box was so small at higher magnifications made it difficult to get proper eye position.. actually not uncommon with high mag scopes....have since also ordered a 6x24x50 E 4 Arken which I like very much

I’m 90% sure I clicked the mil version of the scope. Honestly, I was so excited about putting it on my rifle and getting to shoot, I didn’t even look when I mounted the scope when I was zeroing today. I noticed it’s an MOA scope. I’ve done MOA all of my life no big deal. I just wanted to learn something new with the mil version. Optics are nice and clear. Turrets seem to track well.
