I haven’t tried to put it in the washing machine yet because it’s very big. I might take it to a professional to have it cleaned. it’s very comfortable with the pad that I bought for it. After six months, It really needed a good cleaning, But it still looked fantastic. I bought a small Hoover steam cleaner, And it came out looking better than brand new. It’s super soft, Very well-made, and with the right minimal equipment, (steam cleaner, handheld carpet cleaner) This carpet is super easy to care for! I absolutely love it! I was hesitant about buying this rug but I'm glad I did. It's soft and easy to vacuum if you use the right setting. My dog has had 2 accidents on it and if I had caught it sooner it would have been sitting on top of the fabric. It does soak in but doesn't go all the way through and was easy to get out. I'm afraid the 9x12 is too big for my washer so if I need to wash it I'll have to go to a laundry mat. Great value rug, I'm hoping it will look newer longer then a regular rug that looks smashed down after awhile. ... show more

I got this rug for our dining area 8*10 and it’s a perfect fit. The colors are pretty and goes with the room vibe. As of now it’s holding up and no issues since two weeks. Waiting for first machine wash. Vacuum didn’t hurt the rug. Ideal for the price and it’s light weight as well.

We recently upgraded our floors to wood laminate and need a larger area rug for our living room space. I have two young kids and a dog, so we wanted something softer underfoot but also easy to clean for our busy household. This rug seems to check all the boxes, loved that this rug has more of a "woven feel" to the texture vs. the "cow hide" feel of our other washable area rug. We also chose to buy a more expensive Mohawk brand 1/2" rug pad for underneath, since my kids like to lay on the floor for family movie night. I highly recommend both of these products together, otherwise the rug would be a little flat for my preference.
