I've had this in a guest bedroom for some time now & it adds a nice touch to an otherwise rather plain room. While it is a bit thin, it is soft and friendly to bare feet. I think it is best in a low traffic area as it's not the most durable rug in my opinion. However it does have a good non-slip backing which I appreciate. I do not like rugs that skitter around while vacuuming, etc. The pattern is interesting but not overwhelming so it can fit into many places, regardless of the colors in the room. If I were to put it into a higher traffic location I would be inclined to put a carpet pad under it to make it longer lasting I have not had to wash it yet so cannot comment on that aspect. For the price though this is a good deal IMHO. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to you.
