We have faux hardwood floors throughout our home, and my dog and I don't like them. It's easy to slip and fall. We can never have too many area rugs, and I use them in every single room of our home. This is a beautiful deep pink and gray rug - I ordered it in the "colorful" color, and it is, but the colors are muted. I love the design and colors, and it's evidently comfortable to lie on, because my 95-pound Labrador has already taken possession of this as his new spot. I love how this feels on my feet. It's made of high-quality faux wool fibers. To quote the lower part of the listing information, "The rug is low pile but it is very soft, almost plush feeling, 0.3'' thick." It was medium pile in the top of the information, but it's still comfortable. The seller tells us this is machine washable, but I'm not even sure you could fit a 5'x7' rug into a commercial washer. I definitely wouldn't put the rug into my own washing machine because it's just too large. The pattern of the faux wool fibers should keep dirt at a minimum, and my robo-vac went over this without any problems. You can also vacuum it (with a regular vacuum, I suppose) or sweep it. I love the gorgeous retro look and design of this rug, and I'm going to start saving to get the 8'x10' version of this. The colors are beautiful and muted, as if this was an antique rug. It has a very good TPR backing and doesn't move a bit when my 95-pound dog lands on it at full speed. That means it just isn't going to move. I highly recommend this beautiful rug. It would go with almost any colors and feels great on my feet, even though I always wear socks. Evidently it feels wonderful to my dog, too, who has sort of hijacked this rug, but that's okay. Oh, speaking of my dog, he's my bargain sniffer, and he has told me there's a 20% off coupon for this rug right this minute. He suggests you get there quickly to get this, especially if you have pets. ... show more

My newly adopted puppy destroyed my area rug and I replaced it with the MJIAHOMDEC Washable Area Rug and here's my take on it: Pros: - The Boho medallion pattern adds a stylish touch to my living room. - It's washable, which is a major plus - just toss it in the wash for spills or pet accidents. - The non-slip backing helps keep the rug secure and prevents unwanted slips, which is important with a playful pup around. Cons: - The rug is a bit on the thin side, so a rug pad might be necessary for added comfort underfoot. - There was a slight chemical odor when I first received the rug, but it aired out after a day or two. This rug is bigger than expected and is thicker, as well. The top of the rug itself is soft and slightly fuzzy. It doesn't slide around too much and fits in my washer; I am also able to sweep it clean of debris, if needed.

I've purchased several of this type of rug because I have cats, and this one falls on the thicker/softer end of the spectrum. The maroon/pinkish color is understated (nicely) so if you are looking for something that brings out that color but doesn't scream "obnoxious/too bright" this is your rug. I also like the sort of unidentified type of animal that's printed on it. It fits into a variety of types of decor. And the softness is exceptional! ... show more

I am in love with this rug! The boho native design is beautiful and the colors go together so well. The rug is really soft and feels great walking on. My cats won't stay off this one, it's their fav too. It is super well made, thick, heavy with solid stitching and completely stays put once in place. You actually have to get down and pull to slide it in any way. I design is my favorite thus far, it's such a beautiful rug... would buy ten of them and cover my floors throughout its so pretty.
